Shooting with this red throne set was honestly quite a workout; between the heavy skirt layers and the intricate headpiece, simply sitting still required constantly finding my balance. To capture that aristocratic vampire aura of the character, the photographer threw a deeply saturated red backlight from behind. Combined with the crimson drapes hanging around and the fresh red rose petals scattered across the floor, a mysterious and dangerous ambiance came through immediately. The costume is rich with detail: red-and-white lace ruffles layered with black tulle, accented by pearl necklaces for striking dimensional depth, and the little black wings on my back felt wonderfully fitting.

Moving around during the shoot was tricky because the skirt was so voluminous that it was easy to trip over. Yet once dressed in the red-and-black gown paired with Black stockings and red platform bow heels, standing on that golden Baroque-style chair made everything feel completely authentic. Posing with a red apple as a prop or standing while gripping that long red polearm weapon instantly brought forth the character's regal majesty. The empty picture frame on the floor was another fun touch—sitting inside it surrounded by red roses yielded shots with a decadent, aesthetic Gothic Lolita feel.

The most painstaking part of the styling was blending the red eyeshadow with crimson contact lenses, which, alongside the exposed fangs, truly nailed that vampire vibe. To recreate the fluffy, layered look of her hair, the wig took quite a bit of trimming as well. As a cosplayer, every cosplay involves spending substantial time studying a character's micro-expressions; capturing the young mistress's tsundere yet playful gaze demands strict control in front of the lens. The synergy with the photographer was fantastic as we explored seated, standing, and reclining poses, focusing on showcasing leg lines and garment tiers to convey her enigmatic elegance. Though the entire session was exhausting—especially with arms aching from holding the long weapon for prolonged periods—seeing the final retouched frames made every bit of hard work worthwhile. I will keep honing my camera presence from different angles to deliver even better visual sets next time.
