For this styling at the Firefly ACG Expo, I chose red patent leather material as the main visual. To have better interaction with the outdoor natural scene of the convention, I polished the texture and details of the entire outfit for a long time. The most special part of this red halter dress is the wave-shaped decoration resembling bat wings on the chest, with a colored badge featuring a crown and letters pasted in the middle, looking lively and recognizable. The waist features a corset cross-strapped design, matched with a fluffy pleated tulle hem, making the overall lines look very layered. To tone down the high-saturation red, I chose a red choker with silver rivets and heart pendants as an accessory, and paired it with plush animal ears cosplay featuring a black-to-red gradient and long black bow ribbons on top of the head to add some playfulness. The hairstyle is side twin tails, which makes the overall styling lighter. In terms of makeup, I used pinkish-purple eyeshadow blending and obvious pink blush, and chose a brighter pink tone for the lip color, so that the complexion looks very good under natural light. When shooting these photos, the light was already leaning towards evening, and the outdoor green bushes provided a contrasting background for the large-area red clothing. The photographer is very good at capturing dynamics, and I tried to make cat-claw gestures and a slight head-tilt action, cooperating with the gaze and lens communication. The leg wear used red stockings paired with metal rings and cross-strapped leg rings, which can well showcase the completeness of the costume in full-body photos. Actually, every time wandering around at an anime convention, the biggest challenge is the material of the costume. Patent leather fabric is very prone to reflection outdoors, requiring constant position adjustments to avoid overexposed angles. However, seeing that the luster of the clothes in the final photos was just right, paired with the texture of the red stockings and leg rings, the overall effect still met my expectations. This styling, from the corset details of the costume to the matching of the animal ears cosplay, was put together with a lot of thought.
