[Saileach cosplay] Arknights Saileach Appreciate Fragrance Series: Vintage Texture of the Victorian dress

This Appreciate Fragrance series dress, with its Victorian dress tailoring and intricate lace trims, truly puts lighting and styling details to the test in real shooting. Most of the decorations on the garment were custom-made by hand; the black-and-white cross straps at the chest required meticulous tightening to achieve the proper slim-fitting silhouette. The white-and-blue sash and the flower cluster at the waist added noticeable weight, yet this ensured a graceful drape for the gown.

The makeup for the day was done by 积极搬砖人. To match the blue-purple theme, shimmering glitter was used generously for the eye makeup, paired with light-blue colored contact lenses and long golden curls. Under the purple-blue ambient lighting at the 顺息创艺 studio, the overall facial contours and garment textures appeared exceptionally three-dimensional.

Collaborating with photographer 月aya this time, we experimented with numerous compositions. Because the skirt is voluminous, moving and sitting required constantly adjusting the petticoat shape—especially in the full-body shots in photos 2 and 5 to showcase the silhouette lines of the dress. Prop usage was also well-calculated: items like the black umbrella and the banner flag required precise angles to avoid blocking the light, while needing a firm, steady hold to project a dignified, noble presence. The candelabra prop demanded extra safety precautions during shooting, but paired with classical pillars and fresh flowers, it truly created a distinctive vintage ambiance in our Cosplay photography.

This outfit has abundant intricate details—the lace trim on the sleeves, pearl embellishments on the chest, and the bow on the back were all beautifully presented before the lens. Whether in close-up portraits or seated poses displaying the sweeping skirt, combined with Roman columns and draped curtains in the studio, the overall tone was exquisitely elegant. The shooting process was quite demanding, especially with the voluminous wig and heavy gown, requiring multiple retakes to adjust standing postures and eye expressions. However, seeing the refined materials and tailored silhouette in the final photos made all the effort worthwhile. This styling and costume faithfully recreated the authentic aura of the character's original setting.
