This shoot featured the winter theme of Lisa Beck cosplay in Gardener - Winter Memories, and the entire process from preparation to final shots went very smoothly. Makeup artist Cheng Lili designed a vintage-style eye makeup look tailored to the character's traits, adjusting eye proportions for enhanced camera presence. The reddish-brown wig, styled meticulously by wig artist 'Jue Deng Si Le Zai Shui,' incorporated a beret and snow-dusted accents that not only restored the original lore but also enhanced hair strand texture; paired with teal hair accessories, it gave off a dimensional look. The red scarf and mustard yellow coat were the coziest parts during the shoot; the thick knit fabric had great textural reflections under the sunlight. The ensemble also included green gloves, creating a retro color clash against the primary red and yellow palette for striking visual impact.
For the setting, we chose a Flower shop set design featuring window frames and red brick walls, using woven baskets and a miniature snowman doll as props. Photographer Haiyan Mousse used warm-toned side backlighting, letting light cascade across the scarf and hair tips while intentionally framing the soft contrast of decorative windows to maintain a luminous, airy texture. In post-processing, authentic skin texture was preserved while enhancing amber tones and subtly deepening shadows. Because the scarf and garments were bulky, poses couldn't be overly expansive, so I adjusted my standing posture and hand-raising angles to keep lines feeling relaxed rather than stiff. The character design of Gardener - Winter Memories inherently carries a rich sense of cozy winter life, so harmonizing with the flower shop, climbing vines, and snow elements during Cosplay photography created a wonderful Winter photoshoot ambiance.
