[Tashkent Cosplay] Vibrant Winter Moments from Azur Lane's Northern Parliament

The convention photos from this event are finally organized! The costume for this Northern Parliament Tashkent-class destroyer, finalized with photographer @Pulao411, produced a fantastic texture when shot in a dark-toned industrial-style venue.

The biggest feature of this outfit is the extra-long plush white coat. The fluffy texture is remarkably thick and soft, keeping me feeling nice and warm inside the hall during midwinter. The cuffs feature exaggerated bell-shaped wide sleeves; folded back, they reveal a coffee-colored knit lining inside that gives off a cozy winter feeling. The coat front features diamond quilting that adds three-dimensional dimension. Golden metallic chains and ornaments connect across the chest, which, along with the light blue ribbon in the center, serve as eye-catching accents against the pure white backdrop. What I love most are the two blue bear patterns with X-shaped eyes and the fluffy white pom-poms on the hem, which, paired with the black strings hanging on both sides, perfectly portray that cute yet chilly Northern Parliament style.

The animal ears and fluffy earmuffs on top are also very eye-catching props. The white-and-blue color-blocked ears feature trimmed plush edges, and together with the plump white plush earmuffs, they comfortably support the long, straight pinkish-purple wig framing both sides. The hair length just passes the shoulders, and straight bangs paired with blue-violet contact lenses make the overall expression appear brighter and more focused.

The white knee-high high-heeled boots on the lower body are also key to elevating the completeness of the outfit. The boots aren't simple plain white shafts; inverted triangle cutout designs at the top of the shafts break up any monotony while making leg contours appear slenderer. Blue ribbons at the cutouts and bows detailing the boot shaft echo the blue decorative elements on the coat, achieving high overall color harmony.

On the day of the shoot, we were in the backstage area of a convention venue where lighting was relatively dim, consisting mainly of large overhead spotlights. The photographer took advantage of this light-and-dark contrast, using off-camera fill lights to make the white plush texture of my outfit look crisp and luminous without blowing out highlights. We tried various angles during this session—from a dignified standing pose and a playful posture with a hand resting on my chin, to interactive double-hand snapshots, and my personal favorite: a mid-air jump captured on one foot. Against the dark industrial-style background, the white attire appears exceptionally crisp and clean. Taking that jump shot required several attempts; maintaining balance in high boots and a heavy coat while controlling wide sleeves was challenging, but fortunately, the final snapshot captured a truly dynamic moment.

Representing a Tashkent-class destroyer from the Northern Parliament, this white winter outfit suits that feeling of coexisting chill and warmth after sailing through wind and snow. Cosplaying this character, meeting fellow fans at the convention, and having a photographer help capture these memories made for a seamless Cosplay photography experience.
