[Cinderella Cosplay] Goddess of Victory: NIKKE — Delivering a Complete Fairy Tale Narrative This Time

Regarding the shoot for this Cinderella cosplay set from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, there are actually many preparation details I'd love to share with everyone. Partnering with photographer @Yuling built a great unspoken chemistry, allowing us to dive straight into the mood that day.

Choosing the fabric for this blue-gray tulle dress took a long time, as it needed to ensure smooth movement while reflecting a cool, luminous sheen under backlit and dim settings. The white lace ruffles at the neckline are exquisite, and the pearl accessories on the shoulder straps and wrists were matched on-site according to the mood. I especially want to mention the small tiara: delicate yet featuring clear texture and outline, it echoes perfectly with the long silver-white hair, while the large hair bow on the side gives the styling a distinct visual focus.

For makeup, to fit the character's persona, I specifically emphasized the clarity of the eye makeup and wore translucent light blue contact lenses, keeping the overall face clean to highlight that subtle sense of aloofness in her gaze.

On the day of the shoot, the scene setup was full of atmosphere. White carved wooden chairs were entwined with white roses, paired with a nearby daybed featuring brocade fabric and plush blankets, perfectly capturing the royal court aesthetic of the story. The floor texture was also great, covered with a gray plush rug and accented by teardrop-shaped candles at varying heights. The warm yellow glow falling onto the cool blue-toned skirt created a striking visual contrast between warm and cold tones.

In the photos, I tried several different poses. The shot holding a transparent glass required maintaining proper shoulder positioning and forward tilt, keeping arm lines smooth without looking too rigid; meanwhile, sitting barefoot on the floor adjusting the tiara yielded a much more relaxed state. The contrast between these two states accurately reflects her unique blend of noble elegance, subtle vulnerability, and mystery.

In handling light and shadow, we used a combination of soft diffuse reflection and backlighting. Natural light filtering through curtains combined with indoor key lights made skin texture look translucent, while the edges of the tulle dress glowed softly, creating a dreamlike ambiance similar to an oil painting or original game CG artwork.

Overall, this set is one of my most satisfying cosplay releases recently. It faithfully restored the character's demeanor and costume details; both the layered dress structure and the mysterious atmosphere crafted by candlelight made the entire Roleplay experience deeply fulfilling.
