The Huohuo cosplay photo set is finally edited! Looking at the timid Judge holding her tail and trembling in the photos, I can't help but laugh. The plush tail made by the prop team feels amazingly soft, though I was constantly worried the talisman paper might fall off during shooting. The costume features a striking contrast of dark blue and teal-green bordered with golden cloud patterns, complemented by the Bagua pendant on the chest and a red bow tie around the neck, creating rich visual depth. The wig was styled with two outward-curling tufts, paired with official-style fish-shaped hair ornaments and a Taoist crown cap, achieving a recreation level I'm quite satisfied with.

On location, we set up two distinct scenes: one in a dark teal-tinted Chinese study featuring scroll paintings, Go pieces, and celadon vases in the background, where warm candlelight clashed with cool ambient lighting to evoke a tranquil office setting for a Judge of the Ten-Lords Commission; the other scene moved to a pure white studio backdrop, primarily highlighting tailored clothing cuts and the texture of plush props. Later, when sitting on the floor hugging the tail, the shorter skirt hem beautifully accentuated leg lines wrapped in white boot shafts and teal-blue knots—a delightful little bonus! That fox tail was actually quite heavy; lifting it with one hand to pose tested core strength immensely, so for certain moves, we had to let it rest against the chair.

When preparing the makeup, special care went into the eyes: ice-blue contact lenses matched the original concept, complementing the mint-green wig color while red lips added vibrancy against overall cool tones. Throughout the session, the photographer captured numerous subtle micro-expressions—such as raising a white flag in surrender, pushing forward in hesitation, or resting her chin in a daze—infusing static shots with story-driven narrative depth in this Cosplay photography project. Though her tail kept muttering in her ear, picking up the small banner still held commanding presence. Post-editing avoided over-smoothing skin, preserving realistic texture and natural luster on plush fabric and metallic accents. I hope this set allows everyone on HoYoLAB to appreciate Huohuo's combination of timid bashfulness and subtle tsundere charm.
