This time I tried cosplaying Blanc from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and the overall look with the black, white, and gold color scheme is incredibly photogenic in the studio portrait. The wig is a custom silver-white one with lots of layered trimming; the black hair accessory on the head, along with the golden pupils, enhances the character's recognizability. In terms of costume, the black outer robe is made of a glossy fabric with subtle patterns, paired with gold-stamped dragon and cloud motifs, which possesses both the dignity of a Japanese style and maintains the sleek look of a combat suit. The inner black sheer mesh bustier and bodycon mini skirt were structurally adjusted in tailoring, which, combined with black pantyhose and high heels, restores the character's slender proportions to the maximum extent. The props are a custom black folding fan and calligraphy brush. Holding them to strike a writing or fan-holding pose beautifully conveys her effortless, elegant aura. The photographer used a soft top-side light this time, emphasizing the three-dimensionality of the face and the metallic texture of the costume, especially the flowing light effect presented by the golden prints under the light was absolutely stunning. The black round platform served as a support point, making transitions between standing and sitting positions very smooth. The composition of the entire set of photos is clean and simple, focusing the attention entirely on the character herself. As a tribute to the character Blanc, many detailed considerations were made from makeup to shooting. I hope this experience of bringing an anime character into reality allows everyone to feel the character's charm and enjoy this immersive creative process.
