This "Sailor Mars" makeup and styling from Sailor Moon had been kept in my archives for many years, and today I finally decided to take it out for a solo release. To restore that classic 2D atmosphere, I made many attempts at color grading, pursuing a heavy texture similar to a vintage poster in the overall visuals. This classic anime style aesthetic really hits the spot for me; whether it's the red satin skirt hemline or the iconic long hair, they both show unique tension under specific lighting and composition.

The goal of this shoot was to break through conventional 2D expressions and use more textured images to restore Rei Hino's classic temperament. In post-processing, I deliberately lowered some color saturation and increased the contrast of light and shadow, attempting to create a cinematic feel as if stepping out of an old newspaper. By polishing the details of every single frame, I hope to bring a little 2D shock to everyone who loves Sailor Moon. This tribute to a classic character is not just a simple costume change, but a pursuit of aesthetic height. So that old fans can re-experience that classic timeless aesthetic, with every press of the shutter, I am striving to find that cross-dimensional resonance, keeping that original heart of passion in every photo.
