[Eula cosplay] Genshin Impact's Most Dashing Aristocratic Swordswoman, But My Greatsword Is Still on the Way

Giving the wrong size measurements and not being able to squat down is probably the most hilarious issue I've encountered while preparing this Genshin Impact Eula cosplay. The Long boots and strap design in this gear look amazing, but once put on, I realized my upper thighs were squeezed tight, leaving me only able to stand upright—bending my thighs even slightly made the leather belts pull on my skin painfully. At first, I thought it was just because of my Thick thighs, but then I realized the size was miscommunicated and the belt buckle positions were misaligned. Left with no choice, I took this set of photos in front of the mirror standing up, serving as a record for this cosplay trial.

Actually, prepping for Eula cosplay doesn't require intentionally slimming down your legs; in fact, having some curve and softness fits the character setting much better. My legs naturally lean toward having Thick thighs, and pants usually bunch up on me, but slipping into these over-the-knee black High boots actually flattered my leg lines, making them look elongated. In particular, the soft curve pinched by the thigh bands, paired with those silver metallic embellishments, truly channels that statuesque and gallant presence of Eula in Genshin Impact.

Speaking of the footwear, the blue color-blocking and metallic cross ornaments on these Long boots lend a cold, unyielding aristocratic flair. The sparkling rhinestone embellishments on the toe cap were a delightful surprise—they look very shiny and textured in person. The uppers are made of a patent glossy finish that looks quite premium, though I do worry about picking up strange scuffs during photoshoots, as this material isn't easy to maintain. The harness straps also emphasize sleek leg contours; paired with black shorts, the overall proportions feel spot-on. Even if vigorous movement is out of the question, simply standing still already looks stunning.

Now that the outfit and boots are ready, the biggest regret is that the greatsword hasn't arrived yet. I check the tracking info daily, eager to get my hands on that iconic greatsword to strike two-handed wielding poses. After all, the low crouch and swordplay forms are the very soul of Eula; without a weapon in hand, photos always feel like something is missing, and the aura lacks that imposing dominance. Previously, cosplaying other characters often meant desperately squeezing into dresses a size too small, but this time, embracing my Thick thighs actually filled out the gear perfectly, making it a very comfortable experience.

What touches me about Eula isn't just her appearance, but the contrast between her cold exterior and deep sense of justice beneath. She constantly speaks of vengeance, yet her sword technique is as graceful as a dance. While bending over is currently a struggle due to the sizing issue, not having to deliberately diet means I can focus all my energy on perfecting weapon stances—an unexpected perk! Although I'm stuck posing like a mannequin every day and being careful not to knock off the rhinestones on the shoes, once the greatsword arrives, I plan to find a breezy, sunny day for an outdoor shoot. Clasping that hefty greatsword with both hands and trying to find the sweet spot for a crouch and spring, I'll do my best to recreate that dashing blade of vengeance. Despite minor hiccups in preparation, anticipation is at an all-time high. Thinking about unlocking tons of action poses once the sword arrives makes these pricey boots totally worth it.
