[Jinhsi cosplay] The Little Fairy in Wuthering Waves, a New Lawn Maxes Out the Atmosphere

The original intent of shooting this Jinhsi cosplay was to recreate the character's light, translucent quality. Scouting the location in advance, I found that the wooden pillars and beam structure of this ancient pavilion matched the theme perfectly. In the original shot scenes, the grass was actually quite messy and unevenly grown, easily distracting visual focus during photos. So during post-processing, I tried using Doubao for AI repainting and replacement of the ground texture, aiming to integrate the foreground grass more naturally with the green forest behind. Looking at it now, the overall atmosphere has indeed improved a lot, and the color tone is unified.

For the costume, I chose a light blue and pinkish-white gradient sheer tulle fabric; this macaron-like palette looks especially soft under natural diffuse light. The off-the-shoulder cut design paired with golden neck ornaments and red strap waist decorations not only makes the upper body lines look slender but also adds visual layering to the outfit. The sleeves are loose lantern sleeves; during shooting, a gentle breeze blew by, and luckily caught the moment the lightweight fabric floated lightly.

For the wig styling, I specifically chose a silver-white base with a light pink highlighted gradient, forming a color echo with the pink flowers on the hair ornaments. I intentionally left breathing room in the distribution of hair ribbons and flowers without over-packing them, so the overall head styling wouldn't look bulky. Paired with the round transparent fan in hand, decorated with white edging and pink flower patterns, it connects nicely with the elements of the hair accessories.

For shooting angles, I mainly chose a side-sitting posture, which displays the leg lines and the drape of the skirt very well. The off-white strapped block heels on my feet visually elongated my height proportion and made the instep line look more upright. For makeup, I deliberately avoided heavy eyeshadow and chose a rosy-pink makeup look highlighting blush and healthy complexion to ensure the face looked clean and clear under soft light and shadow.

Light and lighting placement were key to the final result during shooting. Because the pavilion provided natural diffuse shade without harsh direct light, this soft and uniform illumination made the skin texture details shot very delicate. During post-processing, I focused on controlling the overall image color tendency, ensuring the background green and the outfit's blue-pink tones complemented rather than stole the spotlight from each other. This style of cosplay outfit is indeed picky about environments, but as long as environmental colors match right and lighting is chosen well, getting great shots is easy. As for the final cover photo, I selected the one with the lawn because the replaced lawn enriched the entire frame, giving a higher completeness to the character subject's presentation and beautifully fusing the scene setting with the character's aura for this Cosplay sharing of Chinese-style ACG Outdoor photography.
