Because this pink dress from Cartethyia's Korea collaboration is such a dramatic contrast to her default look, many fellow fans mistook it for an original custom design when I first posted teasers—yet it really is a gorgeous official collaboration outfit! To capture that airy, sweet, and ethereal elven vibe, I put extra thought into fabric selection. The pink bodice was crafted from subtly lustrous satin, ensuring rich dimensional depth that wouldn't look washed out or flat under bright exhibition hall lighting. Crisp white ruffled edges along the neckline and cuffs accented with delicate ribbon bows instantly established layered elegance. In particular, the gathered ruching across the bust flatters the figure while infusing charming playfulness. For the lower half, the pleated skirt preserved the subtle light-colored jacquard pattern along the hem, swaying with natural, fluid drape during motion rather than looking stiff.

I positioned the prosthetic elf ears at their most ergonomic angle, pairing them with the golden braided wig while gently teasing wisps of hair around the ears for airy volume—this contoured my face beautifully without uncomfortable ear pinch. Her signature black cross insignia centered on the forehead was applied with waterproof, sweat-resistant body paint so it stayed immaculate throughout a full day on the convention floor. For makeup, harmonizing with the soft pink palette, I swept a low-saturation peach eyeshadow as a base, paired with custom-blended blue contact lenses to give my eyes a luminous, crystal-clear presence. The base makeup remained porcelain and dewy, with subtle highlighter dusted over the nose bridge and cheekbones to enhance skin texture under strobe flashes, while glossy pink lip tint echoed the dress tone.

Navigating a bustling convention made footwear crucial. I styled nude-pink pointed-toe heels with sheer over-the-knee White stockings, securely anchored on the thighs with delicate lace garter bands—this added rich visual detail while preventing slipping as I walked around the venue. The bouquet of flowers in hand was an impromptu prop: wrapped in white paper with pink-and-white blooms, it resonated seamlessly with the dress palette, enriching composition for both half-length and full-body shots.

Shooting around the booth, vivid yellow backdrops and neon light strips offered great ambient illumination. Because the dress hem is short, minding posture was essential: turning in three-quarter profile or subtly bending one leg visually elongated leg lines, enhancing height. Guided by ambient light, shooting from a gentle low angle showcased the structured silhouette of the dress at its best. The shoot went wonderfully smoothly, and meeting so many passionate fans for photo swaps—everyone was so enthusiastic about this niche collaboration look—was the absolute highlight. I look forward to bringing more unique designs like this to life!
