I had actually wanted to carry out this photoshoot project for a long time, themed around sports in the classroom between classes to capture a refreshing, burden-free campus vibe. For this Sporty style ensemble, I chose a two-piece sportswear set featuring contrasting navy blue and vibrant yellow, a high-contrast palette that is exceptionally eye-catching against a clean white studio backdrop. The fabric has a slightly glossy athletic sheen that reveals fine, delicate texture under studio lighting. To enrich the compositional elements and enhance the Anime-style photography visual aesthetic, I chose over-the-knee White stockings. Stripping away fussy decorations, this look focuses purely on vitality and lightness.

The set was arranged very simply, featuring only a wooden-topped student desk with a metal frame reminiscent of a typical classroom between classes. Centered on the sports and recess theme, I put plenty of thought into choreographing poses. The first set of movements involved sitting on the desk with crossed legs, casually fiddling with the ponytail behind my head, simulating that feeling of catching one's breath after running back into the room. Next was turning my back to the camera, resting both hands on the desktop while glancing back—a pose that beautifully highlights the back contour and elongated leg lines. Finally, sitting sideways with one leg raised and gesturing in the air with one hand added a playful, dynamic touch. In fact, striking poses on a school desk demands considerable core strength, especially when balancing body stability while keeping facial expressions natural.

My photography partner used a Sony A7M4 paired with a 35-100 lens. The autofocus and color science of the A7M4 are truly impeccable, rendering skin texture remarkably naturally. In a studio environment, the 35-100 focal range is incredibly versatile, effortlessly capturing atmospheric full-body shots as well as zooming in quickly for dynamic detail shots. In terms of lighting, to complement the refreshing theme, we used a large softbox to evenly disperse the light, eliminating harsh shadows so the straight-out-of-camera shots were already luminous and translucent. Highlights on the skin transitioned smoothly without feeling greasy.

The entire shoot was a thoroughly enjoyable creative endeavor. The pure white background and bright sportswear paired with White stockings and a student desk kept the scene minimal yet visually clean. When transitioning poses, I kept movements fluid and natural without looking forced. In post-processing, I deliberately emphasized translucence and vibrant, crisp colors, preserving the subtle luster of the athletic fabric. This photo set has no complicated lore or heavy makeup; it simply records the purest, cleanest athletic atmosphere. With every click of the shutter, you could feel that relaxation and vigor unique to a ten-minute break—precisely the visual mood I aimed to convey from the start. I hope this Japanese style photography set allows everyone to feel that refreshing breeze of energy.
