The crowd at Tianjin congee (Tianjin Arknights Only) today was even bigger than expected, packed with vibrant energy from early morning. This time, I cosplayed Closure from Arknights (Closure cosplay). To recreate this canonical 'unscrupulous boss' (Unscrupulous merchant cosplay), the outfit was custom-tailored: a white tactical jacket paired with a red-and-black color-blocked inner layer, supported by sturdy black industrial-style harness straps and heavy metal buckles that placed substantial weight on my shoulders throughout the day. In particular, holding that yellow prop gun felt solid and weighty with fantastic tactile texture; striking poses with it instantly brought out that sharp, shrewd, and capable merchant persona. Of course, the Elf ears, red colored contact lenses, and trailing blue-highlighted locks completed the look—I barely dared to turn my head to keep the hair styling pristine all day.
I met so many Arknights players at the venue who showed immense warmth upon recognizing the outfit; many came over shouting 'Boss!', asking if I had gear for sale, or discussing recently released operators. While browsing the artist alley booths, I also grabbed some merch for myself, feeling like I was restocking my own inventory. Closure is truly a fascinating character: while she is an unscrupulous merchant always angling for Originium and coins, the Rhodes Island crew can rarely do without her. I was very satisfied with today's cosplay turnout; although my feet and back ached by the end of the day and the jacket picked up some creases, the sheer joy of taking photos and trading game insights with fellow fans was completely genuine—making for a wonderful Convention photos experience.
