This time, I tried out the look of Reze from Chainsaw Man. From the hair color of the wig to the green contact lenses of the eye makeup, I tried my best to recreate that mysterious yet slightly dangerous aura of the original work. The wig is a customized dark purple gradient short hair; I spent some thought on managing the hair texture and fluffiness, and the bangs were also trimmed into an arc that fits the character setting. The contact lenses chosen are a translucent light green, which, paired with a pinkish blush and matte lip glaze, makes the overall makeup look youthful without being overly sweet. As for the costume, instead of completely copying the uniform from the original work, I changed into a black dress with an off-the-shoulder design, paired with a black choker and semi-sheer black tights, incorporating my own understanding while maintaining the character's cold traits. During the shoot, a bouquet of daisies was used as a prop. The fresh softness of the flowers contrasted with the black-themed outfit, also echoing Reze's sense of contrast in the story—seemingly harmless but actually dangerous. The second photo is a composition I personally like very much, with the flowers blurred as the foreground and the gaze looking directly into the camera, hoping to convey the character's calm and lazy state. The focus of this cosplay lies in capturing the character's innate personality through detailed hair, makeup, and prop choices, rather than a simple piling up of appearances. The overall lighting leans warm, which, combined with the dark red curtains behind, creates an atmosphere with a bit of a cinematic feel. The shooting process was actually quite tiring, especially adjusting the wig and maintaining the focus of my gaze, but I'm fairly satisfied with the final presented effect. Regarding the accuracy of recreating this character, everyone has different standards in their hearts, but I tried my best to deliver my own interpretation of her 2D daily life under limited conditions.
