Putting on this outfit and standing on the wooden corridor and tatami, I can instantly feel the special atmosphere belonging to Murasame. This time, I tried shooting in a Japanese-style room environment closer to 2D daily life, focusing on highlighting that this sword spirit possesses both the concentration of a sword wielder and the soft side of a girl next door. The wig features a light mint green color that perfectly fits the character design, paired with two red ribbons and her iconic blue butterfly hair accessory, presenting a lightweight texture under rim lighting. As for the costume, I specially chose a Japanese style cosplay cross-collar design with a patchwork of black, purple, and red. The crisscross strap structure can embody the character's original sense of combat without being too exaggerated, making it convenient to strike various relaxed poses. The prop wooden sword has a great grip; holding it in hand gives a sense of weight while naturally connecting with the camera lens. Since Murasame herself is a very delicate character with a sense of responsibility, the expressions focus more on capturing those quiet, self-contained, and slightly gentle moments, rather than simply playing cute. In terms of lighting, the photographer made perfect use of the natural light filtering through the door gaps and the warm floor lamp nearby, creating a contrast between the cool-toned hair/makeup and the warm-toned wooden background, making the visuals cleaner and more three-dimensional. This relatively quiet and true-to-life recording style actually pulls the character out of typical combat scenes and places her in a more intimate space, hoping to showcase that unique sense of companionship Murasame offers in the daily life of Senren*Banka.
