Today's set of photos focuses on a maximum sense of contrast. The shooting location was chosen as a large-scale warehouse style venue, surrounded entirely by cold metal shelves and neatly stacked brown cardboard boxes. Yet, wearing a white lace dress in such an industrial-style place turned out to be surprisingly matching. "Special offer today: one cute ghost, non-refundable." I really like this label—who says cuteness must securely stay in a pink little room?

Let's talk about the costume details this time. The overall dress is pure white, with many layers of tulle and lace pieced together, creating a very light and fluffy feel when walking. To match this Japanese style cuteness, I tied twin tails and specially paired them with a white stocking outfit featuring geometric cross patterns. In a cold and hard environment like a warehouse, the contrast between the white lace and stocking outfit is extremely eye-catching. Moreover, the white platform shoes on my feet not only elongate body proportions, but also feel very stable while walking around the empty warehouse, providing a full sense of security. Because the lace of the dress is very delicate, I was constantly and carefully avoiding catching it on the shopping cart's wire during the shoot. This kind of tension—maintaining cuteness while preventing the clothes from tearing—is also one of the joys of shooting.

Photographer @千明Tiasona is really good at finding angles. For the first photo, we tried a posture of sitting inside a shopping cart. Curling up inside the metal mesh basket, with both arms gesturing above the head, the center of gravity had to lean back slightly to maintain balance, while also extending both legs as far as possible toward the lens to perfectly display the texture of the stocking outfit and the outline of the platform shoes. In the few shots lying on the edge of the shopping cart, I tried to make my state very relaxed and lazy, with a hint of playfulness in my eyes, just like a little ghost waiting to be claimed in a supermarket.

White plush toys and a giant brown plush bear are the soul props of this photoset. When that little white fluffy ball was lifted up by me, its furry texture almost overflowed through the screen. As for the giant brown bear switched later, its volume almost blocked my entire body, and it was actually quite heavy when hugged, completely unlike what it looked like on the surface. But to present the healing atmosphere of furry heartbeats, I had to maintain a very relaxed smile and natural interaction in front of the lens. Sitting on the ground taking a group photo with the big bear, my legs extended naturally forward, and the reflection on the ground just highlighted the leg lines and the thickness of the shoes.

The entire shooting process was quite physically demanding, especially walking back and forth between the shelves, sitting on the ground, and leaning next to cardboard boxes to constantly adjust postures. Most of the overhead lighting in the warehouse was cold white industrial illumination; such light hitting the face heavily tests skin condition and facial contours, fortunately the photographer kept guiding me to find the light source, using side-backlight to make the hair strands shine brilliantly.

Overall, bringing the Japanese style cute wind into the warehouse shelves this time was a very fresh experience. Without complex backgrounds, the collision between simple pure white and the cold gray of industrial shelves is already storytelling enough. Coupled with the soft touch of plush toys, this photoset vividly shapes the image of the cute ghost.
