[Lin Yuxia cosplay] Handsome Freeze-Frame at the Arknights Crossroads

Organizing my wig and the animal ears atop my head, buckling the black leather straps, putting on this black top with hexagonal jacquard patterns, cinching the wide leather belt with a metallic buckle around my waist, and finally bringing along that white longsword. Between the offline events of the Arknights crossroads and the "Xingluo Qibu" Arknights Only convention, I found an outdoor spot with great lighting and shot this set of photos.

From the moment I got this costume, I felt its design was very thoughtful. The main black fabric has a solid texture, and the geometric jacquard patterns create subtle light-and-shadow changes under natural light, preventing pure black from looking dull. The circular metal decorations at the collar and the hanging thin chain add a sleek, capable vibe to the upper body. Below the waist, crisscrossed black and blue straps, combined with a layer of lightweight translucent tulle at the cuffs, create wonderful dynamic movement as the tulle pleats sway with motion, softening the tough upper body look.

The prop sword in my hand was also a key focus of the shoot. The white semi-transparent blade has a wonderful texture, creating an understated reflective effect in bright outdoor light. The black crossguard features fine carvings and holds noticeable weight, allowing me to stabilize my poses when wielding the sword. To showcase the character's confident and composed nature, the photographer had me try various stances—raising the sword with one hand, holding it horizontally with both hands, and looking back over my shoulder—all of which worked wonderfully with the overall style.

For hair and makeup, I chose a soft pink wig that appeared gentle under bright natural light. Eye makeup was drawn out slightly, paired with light-colored contact lenses, aiming to convey the character's signature quick-wittedness and sharpness through her gaze. Outdoor light was abundant that day; the photographer used a wide aperture to blur the background urban architecture walls with geometric lines, highlighting the subject in the foreground and giving the entire frame a clean, cool-toned texture.

At the "Xingluo Qibu" Arknights Only event, one could feel a thick atmosphere of fan interaction. Everyone wore costumes of their favorite characters, discussing props and camera angles, making offline events like this feel deeply meaningful. Although walking around outdoors carrying a sword and wearing multi-accessory clothing was somewhat troublesome, seeing the final photo results made all the effort feel completely worth it in this Outdoor photoshoot sharing log.

Besides the longsword, belt, and animal ears, a few small costume details are worth mentioning. For instance, the pale purple long tassel hanging by the left sideburn and the black-purple-blue gradient tinting at the sleeve edges serve as great accents against the dominant black tone, keeping the outfit from looking monotonous. The animal ears are made of soft short plush, secured comfortably with leather straps without feeling tight, remaining steadily atop my head even during sharp spins.

At this crossroads location, I hoped to convey the character's unique mystery and capability through these lenses. The color clash of black, purple, and blue, paired with warm fluffy animal ears and a cold white longsword, presents a striking visual contrast.
