Today, I'm directly sharing a set of Tsubaki Rurikawa cosplay photos. The styling concept this time is Fallen Noble Rurikawa, overall presenting a temperament that maintains decency and a cool aloofness even in a shattered environment.
Let's talk about the details of this costume in detail. The black long-sleeved top is paired with gold round buttons, giving it a very textured visual feel. The sleeve parts are spliced with wide white ruffles, paired externally with a white ruffled skirt hem, and the collar reveals the standing collar of the inner white shirt. A white headband is worn on the head to secure the straight bangs of the black wig. Paired on the feet are white stockings and short socks. The overall color scheme is the classic black and white matching; amidst the large area of dark tones, white brings a touch of cool detachment.
In terms of makeup and styling, I used bright blue circle lenses, which can easily catch the eye. The eye makeup incorporates red shading; to highlight a sense of fragility and melancholy, heavy eyeliner was avoided, using eyeshadow to blend and outline instead. The lips were chosen with a soft coral color, making the overall makeup look clean while retaining the character's recognizability.
The shooting environment was chosen in an indoor corner. The dark cyan fabric sofa matches the tone of this costume very well, the wall color leans towards beige-grey, and the overall space is very clean without redundant clutter. The lighting is very soft, slightly diffused from the left side, leaving smooth shadow transitions on the face and sofa, making the captured texture very translucent.
In terms of poses, I tried a sitting posture with crossed knees. Hands crossed in front of the chest, or lightly resting on the side of the neck, eyes staring straight at the lens, maintaining a restrained expression. This set of movements looks simple, but it requires strong control. The waist needs to be slightly tensed to stay upright, which can reflect the unyielding bone structure of a noble girl. During the shoot, I also repeatedly adjusted the position of the legs and the placement angles of the arms, striving to find the most natural and aesthetic lines. Because it's a combination of white stockings and short socks, special attention needs to be paid to the leg curves and the transition details of shoes and socks; slight position adjustments would affect the composition and temperament of the entire frame.
The overall shooting atmosphere was very quiet, and the photographer focused on guiding me to experience the character's sense of calm despair. The restoration level of this photo set is very high, from clothing details to overall emotion. I hope everyone can feel the sense of story within the images.
