This time I tried Firefly's pajama-derived styling from Honkai: Star Rail. Because I love this cozy, lazy home style so much, I couldn't wait to put it together. Although the post includes an OOC (out-of-character) apology, I still tried my best to retain the character's core traits while adding my own interpretation of everyday cuteness.
Let's talk about the makeup and styling first. To match Firefly's vibe, the wig was chosen in a gradient style from silvery white to light blue, trimmed with blunt bangs and face-framing sideburns, paired with a light blue lace hairband and a brown ribbon, making the overall look softer. For the eye makeup, pinkish-purple colored contact lenses were used to enlarge the eyes, with slightly emphasized lower eyelids and aegyo-sal, which, combined with tender pink blush, creates that soft, youthful feel.
In terms of clothing, this light blue dress is paired with a super eye-catching giant yellow bow, with white butterfly patterns embellishing the skirt hem and chest. To increase home-style comfort, the cuffs feature a puff sleeve and thin black strap design, giving it a bit of a retro flavor. The plush leg warmers and dog smiley face slippers in the pictures are my favorite little details; wearing them makes all my movements feel super soft and cozy.
The shooting scene was chosen in a studio decorated with white gauze curtains and floral arrangements, where the white vintage iron art chairs and gold-rimmed mirror served as excellent props. Utilizing high-key diffuse lighting, the frame maintains a clean and translucent feel, eliminating harsh shadows. Under guidance, I tried different poses, such as a bent-leg sitting posture, looking down at the mirror, and holding both fists in front of my chest, striving to showcase Firefly's quiet and well-behaved side.
Regarding details, whether it was the texture of the stockings or the wearing of the hair ornaments, everything was repeatedly adjusted. This set of photos is a very special attempt for me, and I hope to present Firefly at her most relaxed and closest to everyday life after taking off her armor. What do you guys think of this pajama style?
