In this dreamscape illusion of Penacony, I put on Robin's attire and arrived at the anime convention venue. The moment the shutter clicked, it felt as though song was truly piercing through the screen, with musical notes dancing across light and shadow.

Shooting this set of photos actually came with quite a few real-world challenges. First was the pair of massive feathered wings on my back—they were far heavier than they appeared, but bearing that weight was a necessary trade-off to capture that light, ethereal texture. Additionally, crafting the prop staff took considerable effort, particularly the star and lighting accessories on top; navigating the convention floor required constant vigilance to avoid bumping into passersby. During the initial hair and makeup styling, to complement the character's light blue hair and pale green eyes, I kept the base foundation and eyeshadow fresh and translucent, specifically dotting fine star shimmers at the corners of my eyes to convey that gentle, ethereal presence.

The lighting at the convention venue that day was quite complex, featuring both harsh booth spotlights and scattered ambient light. The photographer and I spent a long time searching for the right positions and angles—ensuring the spread wings were framed completely while keeping the cluttered crowds out of the background. In post-production, editor @火日立 kindly added flowing blue lightwave effects at the base and musical stave light effects behind me, instantly transforming the plain black booth backdrop into a dedicated stage. The treble clef light floating in my palm was also meticulously calibrated in post to appear three-dimensional and translucent.

Rather than simply striking poses for the camera, I hoped to convey how deeply intertwined this character is with music and song. As she stretches out her palm to touch that musical note, capturing that focused and tender expression was the emotional nuance I strived for in front of the lens. Every time I do cosplay, standing before the camera is not just about recreating costumes and wigs, but about feeling the character's heart. The light, airy, and dreamlike aura behind Robin allowed me to feel wonderfully relaxed throughout the shoot, as if I had briefly escaped reality.

These Convention photos captured live at the convention always carry unique and irreplaceable memories. Even though the venue was noisy and crowded, getting fully dressed up, standing before the backdrop, and watching the photographer capture every detail of the styling made all the exhaustion completely worthwhile. I'm very satisfied with this spotlight stage ambiance; it elevates this set beyond simple event documentation, turning it into a cherished memento of this Roleplay experience.
