[Saber cosplay] Fate/Grand Order Altria: High School Girl Uniform in the Spring Park - Image 1

This set of High school girl uniform photos taken in the North Garden of Olympic Forest Park is finally finished. Because the post-noon spring light was crystal clear and luminous, I specifically selected this sailor uniform to echo the season. As an Altria cosplayer, I feel that blonde hair paired with a white, red, and blue uniform presents exquisite texture under natural daylight. The gear used for the shoot was a Sony mirrorless camera—the Sony A7CM2—paired with the FE 135mm F1.8 GM lens. Shooting wide open melted the interlaced branches and light spots in the background into an ultra-smooth blur, creating a distinct sense of spatial compression. To highlight the uniform and body contours, I chose to sit sideways on the bench with my right leg naturally extended forward, pointing my toes and gently engaging my core to make the legs appear longer. The White stockings formed an elegant division line along the upper thigh, which, paired with the metallic sheen of the black leather shoes, gave the frame rich storytelling depth. The shutter speed was set to 1/500s at ISO 100 to ensure image purity; given the strong sunlight, the F1.8 aperture allowed precise depth-of-field control. With a 135mm telephoto lens, improper positioning can easily flatten facial depth, so keeping a side profile aligned with the light allowed the face to sit in soft half-shadow, rendering skin texture very gently. The background separation of the 135mm lens is phenomenal, isolating the subject cleanly from the backdrop. Beyond the excellent light, the environmental variety of Olympic Forest Park gave the photographer ample creative freedom, capturing the perfect natural ambiance whether framing half-body or full-body shots. While prepping this set, I paid close attention to the wig's styling and the bounce of the ahoge—the very soul of the character. Even though wearing a JK uniform is a casual take, preserving her signature cool composure and determination remains essential. When the skirt fluttered in the light breeze, the crisp pleats complemented the creamy background bokeh seamlessly. The most vital part of the shoot was coordinating with the photographer to find the optimal lighting angle; this posture caught the backlight from behind, casting delicate eyelash shadows across the cheeks. The warm-cool contrast across the entire set is gorgeous—the cool-toned uniform looks exceptionally rich under warm sunshine. Retouching preserved natural shadows to evoke a cinematic camera feel. Taking advantage of the Sony mirrorless camera's lightweight build allowed us to explore multiple park spots without fatigue, making this a deeply relaxing and delightful photoshoot.
