For this convention, I brought this white modified cheongsam look of Yin Ziping from NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, with an overall style that leans towards being light and nimble. The white pom-poms and ribbons of the headpiece, combined with the twin-tailed wig and the folding fan in hand, successfully captured the character's gentle and graceful temperament. The lace trim of the costume and the hollow-out details at the waist show great texture under the overhead lights of the exhibition hall, while the white over-the-knee socks and gloves make the look visually cleaner.
During the shoot, we tried two angles: holding the fan from the front and turning around sideways. The ambient light on-site was quite complex, but the photographer handled it well, blurring the background structure of the exhibition hall to highlight the main subject. For the standing pose, I deliberately adjusted my center of gravity to let the ruffles of the skirt hem fan out naturally, and we tried the unfolding angle of the fan several times. The character Yin Ziping has a movement design in the game that is full of Eastern charm, so I tried to make my body language softer in these convention photos.
Walking in this outfit was actually a bit restricted, but I pushed through and wore it all day for the sake of character accuracy. However, getting satisfying photos makes it completely worth it. The interaction atmosphere at the convention was wonderful, with many fellow fans recognizing the character and coming over to chat, which made me immerse myself even deeper into this dimension. Sorting out these few convention photos as a Cosplay photo sharing serves as a record of this event, and I hope it conveys the character's sense of lightness.
