[Luo Tianyi Cosplay] Singing Together for Fourteen Years, Live Birthday Party Record

Fourteen years of companionship, projected into this offline birthday party, have materialized as tangible standees and familiar sounds and images on the screen. For this set, I chose a styling design highly synchronized with the character's primary color palette: a white short dress featuring an off-the-shoulder design with ruffled details. The outer layer of the dress is made of a shimmery chiffon material, with meticulous pleating from the chest to the waist. Combined with the grayish-silver long wig, it visually restores the character's translucent and ethereal temperament. For the hair accessories and neck area, I opted for dark blue ribbons and bows as embellishments, breaking the monotony of the pure white skirt and allowing the character's iconic elements to be presented reasonably in a 3D photography setting.

As for the footwear, I followed the student-style tradition of white mid-calf socks paired with thick-soled black Mary Janes. This combination, while preserving the character's cute side, also takes into account the comfort required for outdoor shooting and standing to pose. To complement this sweet and ethereal attire, the makeup focused primarily on a clear base, highlighting the depth of the eye makeup, while the lip color was chosen from a natural palette to avoid looking overly flashy or abrupt, striving to present a approachable and natural state in front of the lens.

On the day of the shoot, the layout of the offline event was truly thoughtful. The static individual shot in Photo 2 clearly demonstrates the completion of this outfit, with a chin-resting posture that carries a bit of the character's unique gentleness and spirit. Photo 1 chose a slightly tilted side posture, better showcasing the fluffiness of the skirt and the waist-cinching effect, paired with the on-site birthday-themed standees, making the scene elements in the photo richer, more immersive, and more participative.

On site, the big screen was transmitting the character's 3D stage image in real-time (as shown in Photos 4 and 5). Seeing such an exquisite virtual image performing on the giant screen created a strong sense of inter-dimensional linkage. The song lyrics and light shifts floating along with the live singing, paired with the circular stage special effects on the floor, were visually stunning. Although I stood in the real space below the stage as a cosplayer, watching the intricate modeling and shining lights on the screen, I could indeed feel the character's vibrant vitality.

This offline activity just happened to fall on the 14th-anniversary node. A fourteen-year span is not short in the molding process of a Virtual Singer. From the early accumulation of the song library to the current comprehensive and three-dimensional presentation, as an enthusiast who loves this character, I am honored to participate in her birthday in the real physical space through cosplay. In the cinema gallery, several exquisite photo spots were set up on site, not only with large-sized relief standees but also with stereoscopic display racks that matched the character's color scheme. Among the passing crowds, there were occasional knowing smiles from fellow fans; this tacit understanding established without words is also a unique joy of offline collective activities.

Regarding this makeup and styling, the silver-gray wig is actually difficult to manage. During the pre-shoot styling, it required trimming to create the right layered feel, especially for the bangs on the forehead, to ensure fluidity and fit the character's 2D long-haired features. During the location shoot, the lighting was complex and the cinema lights were dimly lit, so I had to be extra careful with fill light. The finished photo 2 was basically completed with on-site strong light and a properly increased ISO. Fortunately, the overall tone remained consistent without spilling or overexposure.

This white dress look has limitations in the range of motion. To present an ideal visual center of gravity, I deliberately adjusted the tension of the standing posture and hand movements. Whether resting my face on one hand or slightly lifting the skirt, I worked hard to align with the character image while maintaining a real physique. If fourteen years is a stage summary, then this offline interaction is undoubtedly the most vivid carrier. With the lights on the screen and the makeup in reality co-existing in the same frame, this companionship became very real through physical media. Fourteen years is neither long nor short, but if one can always maintain this passion and turn it into a practical roleplay experience, that is the mood most worth keeping in every shoot. Thanks to these fourteen years, and looking forward to seeing the character continue to shine in the future.
