This time, I chose to shoot 'Celestial Garments of Luo River' in a garden with a traditional Chinese architectural style. To restore Luo Tianyi's agile and classically charming atmosphere, the choice of clothing material was crucial. This interwoven blue and white design captures a flowing airiness under the lens that is highly photogenic. During the actual shooting process, the core challenge was actually dynamic capture. Especially the curvature of the long sleeves when waving, which required specific positioning and camera angles to perfectly reproduce the lightweight feel and dynamic beauty of the 'Celestial Garments of Luo River.'
As an enthusiast who has long cultivated deeply in the 2D field, I love the design of this character very much. In order for this cosplay to achieve the ideal effect, I did a lot of polishing on the makeup and hair details, especially the texture processing of the wig and the natural transition of the hair color, striving to clearly display the character's cool temperament even under close-up shots. The use of light and shadow was also a highlight of this shoot. Utilizing the contrast of light and dark formed by natural light among the red walls, eaves, and tree shadows of ancient architecture, it perfectly set off Luo Tianyi's water-like flowing beauty.
Although shooting outdoors often requires repeatedly adjusting postures and waiting for changes in light and shadow just to capture a perfect dynamic moment, seeing those moments in the final photos that can accurately convey the character's charm makes all the dedication worthwhile. I hope that through these photos, everyone can feel the unique charm of the integration of Chinese classicality and 2D aesthetics brought to me by this outfit.
