[Nekozuka Hibiki Cosplay] Blue and White Cheerleader Uniform, Full of Vitality in the Gymnasium

Putting on this blue-and-white cheerleader uniform and grabbing the goggles, today I am the active presence on the sports field. The theme of this shoot was very clear: to restore Nekozuka Hibiki's cheerleader look from Blue Archive. With the cooperation of the equipment room scene and various sports ball props, the entire shooting process was both fulfilling and interesting. This is a great piece of Cosplay sharing.

Let's first talk about the design of this costume. The blue and white stripes combined with the sharp geometric patchwork on the chest bring an inherent sense of refreshing and vibrant athletic vibe. The "HIBIKI" ID badge hanging from the collar is the most crowning detail of the entire upper body, perfectly suited for showcasing a lightweight posture during exercise. The lower body features a pleated short skirt; due to the large space for movement, it not only makes it convenient to strike various poses but also looks crisp visually. The white slouch socks and yellow-and-white sports wristbands echo the overall blue-and-white base tone and the polarized color of the goggles in terms of color. This fits perfectly for a Cheerleader cosplay.

The shooting venue selected this time was the gymnasium's equipment room. The equipment room carries a natural athletic atmosphere, with stainless steel ball carts packed with volleyballs and footballs. Different colors of balls formed excellent visual embellishments in the frame. During the shoot, we heavily used actual props—sitting in the ball cart surrounded by sports balls, or half-lying on the wooden floor to strike a relaxed posture. These interactions made the originally rigid metallic equipment feel much more approachable.

In terms of pose design, I specially selected a few postures that could highlight the styling's bright spots. In the sixth photo, the movement of kneeling on both knees and making a finger heart with my hands required intentionally adjusting the center of gravity to make the waistline more obvious, which, paired with the posture of slightly tilting my head and winking at the lens, showcases the character's cuteness and vitality as much as possible. As for the shots lying on the floor, raising one leg high utilizes the visual extension of the white socks and the skirt edge, beautifully elongating the leg proportions.

The sports glasses used during shooting are also an accessory that must be mentioned in this styling. Paired with the cat ears, it is both cool and playful. The wig adopted a long hair style; to align with the character's traits, I also performed hair trimming and grooming, letting it fall naturally along the shoulders. The yellow star sequins beneath the eyes were also a small element specially added during makeup, capable of presenting a nimble reflective effect under specific lighting.

The light in the equipment room was relatively complex. To highlight the contrast of clothing materials, the photographer adopted a large-aperture fill-light approach. The light filtered through the storage racks and ball nets to cast onto the person, forming natural highlights on the face and shoulders, making the skin texture and clothing lines three-dimensional and clear. The reflection of the metal ball carts and the colors of the wooden boxes and yoga balls in the background also assisted in constructing a complete atmosphere. This is a fine display of Anime-style photography.

Actually, cheerleader-themed photo sets test scene scheduling the most. One cannot just stand dryly and pose; there's a need to truly melt into that sports environment. Picking up a volleyball or having a football roll down beside the feet brings out that daily life feel of preparing to get on court or resting during match intervals. The character Nekozuka Hibiki itself carries a straightforward and positive temperament, so during the shooting process, one must maintain emotional tension and bright eyes at all times, transforming the vitality of a 2D character into a real frame in the 3D world.

This time, both the makeup/styling alignment and the scene coordination reached a consensus with our expected effects. Looking at the ground full of different types of balls inside the equipment room was actually a highly unique visual experience, allowing the whole set of photos to have both athletic-oriented tension and lifestyle-like relaxation. Although things were stacked somewhat untidily in the equipment room, it was precisely this contrast that made the character dressed clean and refreshing stand out even more in the frame.

Completing such a piece of work, the texture of the costume, the restoration of accessories, and the adaptability of the scene are all indispensable. Reviewing the entire shooting process, many interesting moments were actually randomly captured during interactions—like holding the cart railing and glancing back, or casually playing with the goggles. These subtle bodily movements are often more aligned with the character's own personality than deliberate posing. Ultimately, I feel this set of pictures beautifully presents Nekozuka Hibiki's cheerleader form from Blue Archive, and I hope whoever sees it can also feel the sunny atmosphere of the stadium transmitted through the frame.
