This outfit blends Chinese aesthetics with Lolita fashion, revolving around an off-white palette with an abundance of structural details. The high collar and crisscross chest lacings flatter the body shape beautifully, while generous lace patchwork and voluminous puff sleeves elevate the opulent flair. Paired with a pastel pink gradient wig, the white plush flower ornaments and tassels flanking both sides of the head balance the overall visual center of gravity. For makeup, blush blended under the eyes was emphasized to harmonize with the pink brows and hair, accentuating facial contours against a solid-color backdrop.

Shooting this set was primarily intended to provide practical pose reference and drawing reference for artists. In the first pose, sitting cross-legged while holding the cat, the difficulty lay in core balance and arm exertion. Xiaobao (the cat) is quite chubby; to keep him comfortable without obscuring his face, I had to use my left arm as the primary cradle supporting his lower body, with my right arm loosely wrapping around him, all while holding my spine straight to prevent fabric folds from bunching up. Meanwhile, the skirt hem had to spread out naturally to reveal the slouchy white stockings on my legs, enhancing compositional depth and visual extension.

The second pose, sitting sideways with a folding fan, is better suited for showcasing the garment's profile silhouette. Leaning the center of gravity backward with the left hand braced on the floor, the right knee bent, and the left leg extended forward maximally elongates leg contours. The white cutout lace folding fan in hand serves not only as a fitting prop, but also forms a triangular composition that guides the viewer's focal point. Xiaobao roaming around in the frame was candidly captured, adding lively, spontaneous charm to the scene.

Regarding the lighting setup, uniform softboxes were deployed to eliminate harsh shadows, which faithfully rendered the lace textures and lacing nuances of the dress while lending a softer touch to the cat's fur. For illustrators, structural shadows under this lighting remain crisp and distinct, making it convenient to reference fabric drapery and anatomical posture.

Throughout the session, posture required continuous recalibration; voluminous skirts easily conceal body contours, necessitating deliberate limb extension to maintain compositional tension and visual breathing room. The cat's cooperation was naturally variable, requiring patient coaxing to make him glance toward the camera or remain calm. The core of this set lies in revealing costume craftsmanship alongside natural interactions between person and pet, and I hope it offers helpful inspiration for composition and gestures to anyone seeking creative reference.
