[Hiyuki cosplay] Freezing the Frosty Beauty Amidst Ancient Charm Furnishings

A lot of effort went into both the preparation and photoshoot phases for this look of Hiyuki from Wuthering Waves. The color scheme intertwining white-to-purple gradients with an ice-blue wig, combined with the multi-layered straps, semi-sheer tulle on the outfit, and the scattered pearlescent shimmer on the skirt hem, creates an atmosphere that beautifully merges a combat setting with Xianxia-style photography vibes.

To fit the character's cold, detached, and agile traits, I experimented with various body languages during the shoot, including sitting, standing still with the sword, and lying face up. The white long sword in my hand was one of the visual centerpieces of this look. The details on the hilt and scabbard were meticulously crafted, pairing beautifully with the outer tulle adorned with fine sequins to create an excellent sense of layering under the light and shadow. The dark-toned ancient-style environment arranged on-site perfectly matched the theme. The circular open-work wooden lattice window and the flying crane ornaments in the background served as excellent embellishments, while the cherry blossoms on the left added a soft touch, and the fabric with calligraphic ink traces on the floor provided a rich textural foundation.

During the shoot, to manage the multi-layered skirt hem, I had to constantly adjust the angle of its spread to avoid looking bulky on camera. Under the cool lighting dominated by blue and purple tones, the highlights captured the texture of the hair strands and accentuated the sharp, clear look enhanced by my Cosplay makeup. Although the long sleeves and corset-style waistband design imposed some restrictions when striking dynamic poses, with the photographer's cooperation, we captured several frozen moments that I'm highly satisfied with. The tulle fabric of this navy-purple outfit has an excellent drape. Combined with the translucent water-ripple effect, it gives the overall styling an ethereal charm while maintaining the crispness of a combat character. This successful session is an ideal reference for any future Guofeng-style photoshoot booking, perfectly bringing out the depth of the character design.
