Regarding the outfit for the character Freia, I did a lot of preparation work regarding the costume structure before the actual shoot. This outfit uses white as its base, complemented by a red and purple patched jacket and skirt, making the visual color contrast extremely sharp. The fabric is a matte material with a certain thickness, which prevents the white from over-reflecting under bright outdoor light, preserving the delicate grain of the cloth. The purple geometric lines and red diamond patterns on the chest were specially treated with double-layer bonding during production to ensure they remain flat and snug even when the wind blows or arms are raised outdoors. The fabric of the red bow at the collar went through a shaping process so it stands upright and won't limply stick to the neck.

For the wig, I selected a light cherry blossom pink shade, with the strands finely layered so that the hair bundles on both sides of the crown and the long straight hair at the back blend together more naturally. The blue bead hair accessory, as a key embellishment, is a crucial detail for recreating the character's image. As for the long-handled staff prop I held, to balance visual weight and portability during production, the hollow top structure was filled with lightweight materials. The internal center of gravity was adjusted to allow for more expressive and extended holding postures.

For this shoot, I chose an outdoor orange railing scene and a solid-colored wall scene, intending to use the refraction of natural light to highlight the contrast between the white, red, and purple colors of the costume. Especially under the backlight near the woods, the sunlight piercing through from behind creates a beautiful halo around the edge of the cape, which enhances the atmospheric feel of the photos and makes the character's disposition appear more dynamic and lively.

The shooting process heavily tested the control of my steps and posture because the hem of this magician battle attire is a pleated mini skirt. Paired with long boots, when taking larger steps, the movement of the skirt needs to coordinate perfectly with the photographer's shutter timing. While adjusting my center of gravity, I tried my best to use the prop against the ground to increase body stability, so that every frozen frame could present an effortless look. At the same time, windproofing is necessary in outdoor photography to prevent long hair from interfering with the light on the face and causing unwanted shadows. I hope this Freia cosplay set, based on the faithful restoration of fabric textures, brings everyone a natural and casual visual experience of a charming anime girl.
