[Cinderella cosplay] GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE Swimsuit Look: Enjoying a Cool Summer Under the Sun

Directly sharing this outdoor shoot of GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE Cinderella. The overall styling this time features a white mesh sheer outer coat paired with a matching bikini inner lining. The knot design at the front chest not only adds layers to the costume but also makes the overall look visually lighter and more breathable. The poolside and outdoor setting perfectly presents this refreshing feel to its fullest.

Speaking of details in this shoot, preparations were actually a bit more complex than what meets the eye. Regarding the wig, the Silver-haired twin tails styling required quite a bit of effort to groom. To ensure volume at the crown and hair tips, multiple hair-track treatments were done in advance, and bangs and side strands were repeatedly adjusted during filming. The matching hair accessories provided a great accent, preventing the head styling from looking monotonous.

For eye makeup, red contact lenses were specially chosen along with a relatively slender eyeliner technique to align with the character's demeanor. Lip makeup opted for a soft, rosy texture, aiming to remain natural and non-intrusive under bright lighting. Skin tone appeared very porcelain before the camera, which, besides base makeup, was also related to the lighting environment that day.

Ambient lighting was the key focus of this shoot. The third photo by the poolside directly utilized intense natural sunlight. Although this hard light easily casts heavy shadows, it is particularly suited for capturing shimmering water ripples and the dynamic feel of the subject in the water. To manage this harsh light, large white reflectors were used during filming to soften facial shadows. Simultaneously, sunlight filtering through the mesh coat onto skin created a very special light-and-shadow texture.

The first and second photos were completed in the rattan outdoor sofa area. With a shaded structure overhead, lighting transformed into very soft diffuse light. This light didn't require much fill-in equipment to naturally outline the mesh texture and soft cloth material of the outfit, instantly bringing out a languid ambiance.

White-dominated clothing easily creates sharp contrast with environments during Outdoor photography. To avoid blown-out highlights, the photographer made corresponding tonal adjustments in post-processing. The blue tones reflected off the water surface formed a wonderful cool-and-warm color contrast against the white attire, giving the frame a breathable feel.

Whether composing by the poolside or on the rattan sofa, the goal was to showcase the character's charm across different states—both her lively side by the water and her relaxed side on the sofa. This is precisely why one outfit was shot in two distinct spots.

Minor hiccups happened during the shoot, such as wind blowing the wig out of place or water smudging makeup requiring quick touch-ups, but this authentic interactivity is precisely the charm of outdoor sessions. As the model portraying the character, I also hope this work achieves expected results in lighting and expressiveness. When posing, I tried my best to keep my center of gravity flat so my posture looked genuinely relaxed.
