This witch costume for Marisa has an incredible sense of design, with plenty of details worth sharing from the hat to the skirt hem.

The edge of the iconic large black wide-brimmed hat is trimmed with wide white ruffles, and the purplish-red ribbon bow specially sewn on the side prevents the hat's texture from looking flat while beautifully framing the head shape.

The golden-yellow wig chosen this time has a warm, bright yellow tone, styled into loose big waves with a single braid woven on the left side. I didn't intentionally comb the wig to be perfectly neat, retaining some slight curls to lean closer to a casual, everyday vibe. Combined with the wig's inherent layering, the overall look builds a foundation of fairy-tale charm.

For the top, I chose a cream-white long-sleeved shirt featuring lantern sleeves with gathered ruffled cuffs, creating natural folds when moving my arms. The dark vest layered outside has a slim-fit cut, and its round neckline combined with metallic buttons and scattered star embroideries beautifully balances the visual impact of the large apron, preventing it from looking bulky. It perfectly demonstrates a versatile choice for Anime-style fashion.

The most eye-catching part of the skirt section is this layer of white apron, printed with yellow star patterns and tied with several small bows using black ribbons, finished with multi-layered ruffles at the bottom hem. Paired with the main dark underskirt and the white lace peeking out from the bottom layer, the sense of layering is exceptionally rich. Walking around or doing a quick spin makes these lace trims sway along, which looks quite adorable.

The bottom look is completed with classic white lace-trimmed socks and black buckle leather shoes, harmoniously tying together the entire outfit's main black, white, and gold color scheme. For this shoot, I simply found a corner at home with a white door and a plush rug. The light was abundant, and without too many complex stage sets, it highlighted the outfit's own tailoring and fabric texture even better.

I experimented with several different poses, including opening my arms wide, sitting on the rug, and standing on one leg making a peace sign, and found that the visual effect presented by this outfit changes quite a bit under different movements. It doesn't just look great statically; its dynamic mobility is also excellent, allowing the layers of the apron and skirt hem to be fully showcased. Even without heavy Anime convention makeup for this relaxed indoor setup, the overall look brings out the authentic essence of a classic witch costume from Touhou Project.
