Putting on this Mornye gear, the cool white wig was combed into position, while the metal ring atop my head and the slender antenna-like headpiece required careful angle adjustments to secure. The coat is a white robe with subtle geometric patterns and a noticeable glossy finish, while the inner top is a blue-and-black spliced design, with the neck metal ring and the chest golden decorative strap serving as key recreated details. To complement this outfit, my makeup specially emphasized a cool porcelain skin texture to align my overall temperament closer to the original setting.
What I wanted to highlight most in this shoot was actually a White thigh-highs outfit, especially the pairing of stockings and white heels. These glossy platform pumps produced a beautiful sheen under the cool light, which, when combined with matching stockings, visually elongated my leg proportions and rendered the cool-toned theme even purer. To convey this crisp and tidy atmosphere, we experimented with various sitting poses during the shoot—such as the cross-legged posture in Photo 1, which both showcased the leg lines and preserved the character's composure.
For the venue choice, instead of going to a conventional studio, we specifically sought out an indoor space with an industrial tech feel. The metal cabinets in the background, hanging equipment light tubes, and the vintage CRT monitor on the right fit the scientific research and experimental setting of the character's environment. This slightly cluttered industrial background contrasted with the character's clean white outfit, making the subject stand out even more.
Regarding lighting, direct overhead lights were utilized. The intense cool light source hitting my face and clothes maximized the texture of the robe's fabric. This high-contrast light and shadow treatment effectively darkened the background, creating a quiet, focused Scientific research style atmosphere. Furthermore, the pose holding a blue folder in Photo 2 added to the lore immersion, as if recording experimental data.
Whenever cosplaying characters with tech-oriented, cool-toned settings, I spend a lot of thought on costume fabrics and accessory details. For instance, the gold bracelet and silver metal pieces at the collar required precise placement to match the original design. During actual Cosplay photography, occasional shifts in lighting angles yielded distinct refractive effects on these white heels, capturing several unexpected, brilliant moments. The location and composition of the entire photo set are quite clean without redundant decorations, purely aiming to present the crisp, calm vibe of a dedicated scientific researcher.
