This summer Swimsuit cosplay set for Mejiro McQueen cosplay turned out with a wonderfully clear and luminous effect. The day before the shoot I was still worrying about the weather, but luckily it was bright and sunny, and the shimmering sea looked stunning. The outfit features plenty of green ruffled trims and sheer white lace, which, combined with long purple hair, stood out vividly against the sea. The animal ear accessories on the straw hat and the tail at the back were actually quite tricky to secure; with the strong seaside winds, extra reinforcement was needed to keep everything firmly in place.

The first photo captures a kneeling glance over the shoulder in the shallow water, a pose I actually held for quite a while. Waves kept washing in and soaked the dress quickly; the wet sheer tulle clinging to my legs accentuated the leg lines nicely, but I held the pose motionless for the shot. The photographer was also very patient, capturing snapshots in the gaps as the waves receded to get that natural water reflection.

The second photo sitting on a transparent swim ring was much more relaxed. Sitting allowed me to avoid the crashing waves completely, letting me face the camera calmly and pose pointing forward. The reflective texture of the transparent swim ring balanced the light on my face nicely, making my facial features more dimensional under the sunlight.

For makeup, I deliberately layered the eye makeup and wore light-colored contact lenses to match the character's demeanor as an Anime girl. The texture of the hat and the lace details of the dress were very refined, including the small white decorations on the shoelaces—all these tiny details hold up under close inspection.

Shooting by the beach definitely involves uncontrollable factors; the sea water made the wet wig heavier, requiring much more effort to maintain than usual. But finishing a shoot in such an open natural environment and seeing the sunlight filtering through the lace in the final photos made all the hard work worthwhile. The dress's color palette is clean with no extraneous clashing hues—the white base with green trim feels very refreshing, and post-processing preserved this clear, crisp ambiance without heavy color grading. The overall photoshoot highlights a breezy, refreshing atmosphere that blends beautifully with the character design.
