This shoot is a solo studio portrait creation centered on the setting of the Genshin Impact character Nahida, incorporating the concept of an "Elf bride." Photography by @九九九是月, venue at @香澄摄影棚.

The main color palette of the entire costume focuses on tender green and white, with an extensive use of light, translucent tulle material to emphasize a fairy-like and ethereal feel. The most eye-catching part is probably the vine ribbon decoration wrapped around the legs, dotted with tiny green leaves and miniature metal bells, allowing for subtle layered changes when moving. The flower crown is paired with a silvery-white wig blended with light green, as well as two smaller-sized elf pointed ear props, visually enhancing non-human, otherworldly traits.

In terms of scene layout, several European-style white Roman columns were chosen as the main supporting structures on-site, which not only gave the model something to lean on but also added a sense of weight and a sculptural feel to the image. Surrounded by highly realistic ferns, lawns, and scattered white miniature chamomile props, paired with the giant pink-and-white paper flower on the back right, a closed miniature fairytale garden was constructed. The background backdrop used a yellow-green gradient to ensure a smooth transition of color layers without looking abrupt.

For the lighting, we adopted a high-key and soft lighting scheme throughout. This lighting method heavily tests the base makeup and skin condition, but it is also the most effective way to achieve a fair, translucent "elf glowing" skin effect. Combined with the softening of facial shadows during retouching, it makes the overall image bright and clean. Under this light, I deliberately adjusted the light reflection in the eyes, as well as the highlights on the pearl necklace and ribbons, to prevent the entire image from looking flat due to being overly bright.

In this set of photos, the half-body composition focuses on displaying the character's expressions and detailed embellishments, while the leg close-up is specifically used to show the complex handmade vine accessories. To emphasize the ceremonial feel of the "bride," the white bouquet in hand echoes the vines on the body beautifully from top to bottom, keeping the visual focus relatively concentrated. In terms of movement design, a relaxed sitting posture was maintained, with gentle hand movements spreading out to hold the bouquet, avoiding overexertion to maintain the light posture of an elf.

The coordination of early styling, prop display, photography lighting, and post-processing color determined the visual upper limit of this set of photos. No excessive filter stacking was done in the overall post-processing; only the layers of yellow-green color temperature were fine-tuned to preserve the original fresh and natural feel of the image, ultimately presenting this anime work that both conforms to the character setting and carries a slight touch of romantic wedding dress vibes.
