Shooting this Bunny girl cosplay of Lancer Artoria Alter from Fate/Grand Order took far more preparation than expected. Securing the dark pink velvet bunny ears amidst the silver hair required multiple adjustments: because the ears are long and relatively heavy, conventional hair clips easily slid down, so we ultimately used an internal concealed wire mesh fixed with hot glue to ensure a clean, natural look from both the front and profile.

The black bodysuit material offers great elasticity, cleanly outlining sleek curves while heavily testing body proportions. The silver chains adorning the sheer mesh overskirt shimmered delicately with every movement, though extra care was needed to keep them from catching on the Fishnet stockings. The styling paired classic black Fishnet stockings with high heels—putting them on and taking them off was a tedious process, but the visual outcome was phenomenal. The defining charm of this design lies in blending an aloof, icy gaze with the playful allure of a Bunny girl, making facial expression control a central challenge throughout the session.

The location was a meticulously decorated retro bar-style studio featuring disco balls, green drapes, a phonograph, warm fairy lights, and cool blue feathers, which added immense visual depth. During shooting, we focused on close-ups—both profile and frontal angles—to capture the instant of holding a glass while gazing intently into the lens, as well as posing with a hand resting against the hip holster. Because the plush ear tips brushed against my shoulders and risked obscuring the frame, minor posture adjustments were made along the neck and shoulders.

The third full-body shot reclining on the round table was the best angle to accentuate the Fishnet stockings and leg lines. With the thigh pressed against the tabletop, finding the right core balance was essential to maintain an extended, graceful posture while elongating the leg silhouette. Holding such poses in high heels is physically demanding over long takes, but the photographer skillfully balanced the cool metallic backlights with warm ambient fills, softening the sharp rim lights and elevating the character's magnetic charm.

Overall, this Fate/Grand Order Lancer Artoria Alter cosplay delivers exceptional visual impact. In terms of makeup, hand-drawing the crisp edges of the purple geometric markings along the cheeks required meticulous precision. Wearing the dense, long silver wig was warm and stifling, but seeing the final deliverables made every bit of effort worthwhile. The intricate braids hidden within the hairstyle reveal rich layering upon turning. The mesh overskirt drapes beautifully, and paired with the Fishnet stockings, it encapsulates the character's commanding yet sultry essence. This shoot offered invaluable experience in mastering dark-toned Bunny girl aesthetics.
