This photoshoot series of Promeia from Zenless Zone Zero is finally retouched and finished! As one of the most intensely imposing figures in Zenless Zone Zero, stepping into her shoes was an exhilarating experience. To embody Promeia's dual nature as both executioner and sinner, extensive prep work went into textile presentation and scenic ambience.

The tactile interplay of this outfit is extraordinary: the primary body utilizes color-blocked panels of black and industrial charcoal gray, featuring structured, high-gloss patent leather across the bodice and semi-sheer black mesh wrapping the midriff and waist. This tactile pairing is notoriously unforgiving with lighting, yet it pays off with incredible visual payoff on camera—delivering sleek sci-fi aesthetics while flattering physical contours. The neck collar, accented with a silver mechanical spherical charm, amplified her ruthless, cold aura. During initial fittings, I fell in love with the modular armor plating along the arms and legs; the black glossy thigh-high boots fastened with silver metallic buckles produced a satisfying, heavy metallic clinking with every stride. To complete the styling, I wore a high-saturation electric-blue bob wig paired with magenta-violet contact lenses and crimson lips, pushing her cool, aloof beauty to the absolute max.

The set was staged in an industrial indoor studio furnished with scaffolding, crimson steel girders, yellow caution barrier tape, and graffitied masonry walls, echoing Zenless Zone Zero's distinctive intersection of post-apocalyptic ruin and Cyberpunk style. The on-set lighting relied heavily on cool blue hues as the tonal foundation. In one sequence, I sat atop an olive-drab military ammo crate, elevating one leg while resting a hand through my hair. To project that readiness for combat mingled with detached self-judgment, the photographer adjusted the blue rim light continuously. I experimented with varied gazes across profile and head-on perspectives, particularly locking eyes with the lens to convey unquestionable, ruthless authority.

Another sequence featured a low crouch with both hands clasped behind my head. While appearing straightforward, balancing in high-heeled boots within a snug bodysuit required constant core tension. To accentuate the waistline and the translucent skin-peeking quality of the mesh, our lighting tech set up a potent rim light from the rear-three-quarter angle. Whenever I draped the cape over my shoulders, the specular highlights off the patent finish looked razor-sharp; freezing the moment of tossing the cape, the photographer caught multiple dynamic frames where kinetic tension far outshone static poses.

The most taxing part of the shoot was maintaining that unyielding, stoic expression. Promeia's canonical lines speak of shackles and internal trial; thus, in my acting, I stripped away extraneous facial fidgeting, relying primarily on a subtly raised chin and downcast, dismissive eyes to shape the character. In post-production grading, I deliberately crushed ambient shadows while preserving luminous blue highlights, yielding an icy color palette that resonated with the visual poetry of an ice blade piercing through the dark night. Despite aching feet from balancing on stilettos, seeing the finished frames of Promeia standing aloof and commanding amid chaotic industrial debris proved that every ounce of fatigue was deeply worthwhile.
