[Sunna Cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero KFC Collaboration Skin: Industrial Style Outdoor Shoot

This shoot was for the official photo set of Sunna's KFC collaboration skin. We selected this outdoor container yard for the location to bring out a rugged industrial vibe. Arriving there with the photographer and the camera gear, seeing those red and blue containers alongside the large black oil drums, I immediately felt they would create a striking color contrast with the pink-and-white outfit. The gear used was a Sony A7M5 paired with the FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II lens; this focal length was extremely flexible for moving around and catching candid shots within the gaps between containers, capturing both the atmospheric grandeur of the location and half-body close-ups.

In terms of makeup and styling, the mint-green pointed horn hair accessories paired with heart-shaped sunglasses are unmistakably recognizable. The pink-and-white corset and pleated skirt design brilliantly blends Sunna's signature biker style with adorable charm. The small bell on the choker jingles softly with movement, adding a touch of dynamic lightness to the composition. Of course, the most distinctive pairing is the leg garter and white long stockings, complemented by white platform high heels. Sitting on the fluffy cushion, the leg lines stood out prominently against the dark container background.

During the shoot, we also utilized a KFC fried chicken bucket as a prop. Initially seeing it resting in a blue plastic crate felt so full of everyday life—integrating this common real-world fast food prop into Sunna's 2D styling created a fun and interesting contrasting charm. The shoot wasn't just rigid posing; we needed to capture natural and candid moments, such as gently adjusting the sunglasses or casually tucking hair back, ensuring the movements matched the character's sweet and cool vibe.

For lighting, the natural light on set was somewhat messy, so the photographer used a reflector to fill the facial light. This rendered the pink sleeves, white skirt hem, and white stockings soft and clean under the light while preserving the metallic reflective texture of the containers in the background. This clash between industrial aesthetics and 2D fashion demanded a lot of physical stamina and emotional energy, especially since the weather was somewhat humid and hot. But seeing the final shots on the screen made all the hard work feel completely worthwhile. The overall design details of this costume are meticulously crafted—rather than merely piling on cute elements, the tailoring allows for a playful edge. In particular, the detached sleeve design offers great freedom of movement while flattering the lines of the arms, shoulders, and neck.

In post-processing, we didn't overly alter the original colors, focusing instead on adjusting the contrast of light and dark to make the pink tones more translucent while crushing the dark areas of the background to make the subject pop.
