Putting on this Chisa cat ear maid outfit this time, the most direct feeling is that there are genuinely so many details. The black corseted top with small golden buttons, combined with a white lace apron and a multi-layered red-and-black skirt hem—it took nearly half an hour just to get it completely on. The large black cat ears and red bows on the headpiece are the focal points, complete with tiny bell decorations that make slight sounds when walking. Together with the long straight wig, the overall styling looks exceptionally layered in front of the lens.

The shooting location was selected at the Chao Wan Planet Collaboration offline pop-up event. The background wall features exclusive illustrations and playing card elements, and the black-and-white checkered floor adds a touch of fairytale vibe to the entire frame. I intentionally brought along that black-and-red round ball plushie; although the tray prop is lightweight, balancing one's center of gravity is still necessary to hold it naturally. For the snapshot in Figure 2, my hands were raised to the sides of my ears because I was actually adjusting a loose hair accessory, but the photographer mentioned this motion looked perfectly playful, so we kept it.

Regarding the comfort of this outfit, although the skirt hem is voluminous, it isn't too stiff, and the white stockings paired with buckle shoes don't feel tiring even after wearing them for a long time. However, the cat ears headpiece is secured relatively tightly, which pinches the forehead a bit when worn for extended periods. To capture Chisa's temperament, the makeup focused heavily on emphasizing her red eyes and a slightly flushed, tipsy feel on the cheeks, applying blush a bit heavier so it wouldn't look washed out under the venue's bright lighting.

I encountered many fellow fans on-site; some held merchandise to take photos together, and others specifically brought a matching small black cat plushie to interact with me. The character standees and round hanging tags in the collaboration scene were all very exquisite. Bringing the standees into the frame during wide shots (just like in Figure 1 and Figure 3) adds a much more immersive feel to the overall look. However, I personally love Figure 2 the most because the composition is the cleanest; the combination of the costume's red bow and black corset looks very slimming, and without needing to hold the tray, my hand movements were much more free.

The greatest challenge of doing this cosplay was actually expression management. Chisa's setting carries a slightly lazy yet playful vibe, so I couldn't smile too broadly, yet I had to keep my gaze agile. I practiced the feeling of tilting my head slightly in front of the mirror for a long time. During the shoot, the photographer kept reminding me to tuck my chin in slightly and elongate my neck so the captured images wouldn't make my shoulders look rounded.

Overall, the setup for this collaboration event was highly dedicated, and the lighting was beautifully spotted, yielding highly photogenic results without needing too much post-processing color grading. If I get the chance to wear this outfit again, I'd love to try outdoor natural light, which should bring a completely different texture. When organizing the photos, I discovered each has a distinct atmosphere, and I hope everyone can feel the care put into this costume.
