This black patent leather high-neck cutout top paired with shorts of the same material, combined with over-the-knee Black tights outfit and platform Mary Janes, produces exceptional texture under flash photography. The pink straight bangs with side braids, paired with bright blue contact lenses, create a striking color contrast against the dark-toned metal stairwell background. We specifically chose a late-night indoor stairwell for the shoot; the industrial feel of the anti-slip iron steps interacts with the reflective fabric to create rich layering, while the red Monster Energy can serves as a neat prop embellishing the composition. Switching between crouching and standing poses, along with pulling up the jacket collar to partially cover the face at the end, presents a variety of expressive moods. The glossy sheen of the Patent leather outfit is quite light-sensitive; we adjusted lighting angles several times on set to prevent overexposed highlights, preserve shadow details, and keep skin tones looking natural and clear. The braids were tidied up twice to ensure clean braid textures, and the top bangs stayed smooth without collapsing. The standing high-angle shot used a subtle wide-angle perspective to elongate body lines, but I still feel the shot sitting on the steps turned out best—the sheen of the tights and texture of the patent leather shoes were captured perfectly, while the stair textures added depth to the frame. Although the top is quite cropped, the high-neck design combined with casually draping a drop-shoulder loose jacket strikes a great balance between warmth and styling. The shoot went very smoothly; although the late-night stairwell was a bit cold, the final results made it completely worth it.
