It has been a few days since shooting this set of Rimuru cosplay photos, and I have finally finished retouching and organizing the shots. I tried several new styling touches this time: to better embody the character, I carefully trimmed a light Blue wig with blunt bangs and wore bright yellow contact lenses. The eye makeup was delicately blended to convey an aloof yet subtly sharp gaze. For the wardrobe, I chose a long Black trench coat accented with white stripes along the sleeves; while the fluffy fur collar was warm, it tended to visually shorten the neckline, requiring multiple camera angle adjustments during the session. Black trousers and tall boots visually elongated leg proportions, making dynamic leg extensions look exceptionally striking on camera. The prop sword on my back carried significant weight, leaving my hand fatigued after a while, but fortunately, I brought along a squishy slime plush pillow. Not only did the plush relieve hand strain between takes, but holding it also instantly softened my expression—it worked wonderfully both held in my arms and perched on my head. For Outdoor photography on city streets, natural light around 3:00 PM proved most ideal. Even with pedestrians passing by, I focused fully on immersing myself in character to pull off the best poses. We tested various stances, from resting a chin on one hand and drawing the blade to daydreaming while hugging the plush; the contrast between an aloof persona and adorable props added delightful visual flavor. The overall cool-toned grading complemented the Black trench coat and vibrant hair beautifully, making this a memorable Anime cosplay and Outdoor photography experience.
