Bringing this Formidable gown to the convention required immense dedication from early prep to the final wear. The main body of the dress is crafted from white satin fabric that catches overhead lights with an organic, pearlescent luster. The bodice features cutouts with crisscross lacing; the slender blue ribbons serve not merely as decorative accents, but also maintain structural tension to hold the dress firmly in place. The high-slit cut of the skirt allows effortless movement while cleanly accentuating the leg contours. Around the neck, a blue choker with a golden pendant echoes the color theme established by the bodice ribbons.

For the wig, I selected a cool-toned silver-white fiber, trimmed with neat blunt bangs in front and gathered into twin tails cascading past the waist at the back. Because of its sheer length, navigating through convention crowds required frequent combing to prevent snags. The headpiece combines translucent petals with black spikes, which needed numerous bobby pins to anchor securely to the crown. Regarding the makeup, crimson contact lenses served as the visual centerpiece, complemented by red blending smudged at the outer eye corners to accentuate the eyes. To replicate the character's dewy, porcelain complexion, a generous application of body shimmer oil was swept across the shoulders, collarbones, and arms, topped with metallic gold vine body art applied near the neckline and collarbones.

For props, I carried a white-and-purple floral bouquet featuring subtle gradient petals that harmonized effortlessly with the blue-and-white wardrobe palette. The convention hall was illuminated by industrial ceiling fixtures; our photographer leveraged a blend of existing overhead lighting and soft ambient fill. In the full-body shots, we captured a dynamic frame lifting one leg, letting the long hair and flowing skirt drape into a natural mid-air flourish. The chunky platform heels elongated visual proportions without sacrificing stability, making walking the venue floors all day surprisingly manageable.

The fine construction of this garment required continuous adjustments—especially ensuring the blue ribbons fell with natural, clean drape for each camera angle. Finding an uncluttered spot amidst the heavy convention crowds was certainly a challenge, but the finished styling fulfilled every expectation.
