[Tewi Inaba cosplay] Touhou Project: The Big White Rabbit in a Dreamlike Garden

Jumping straight into today's share: the official studio photoshoot of Tewi Inaba (Tewi Inaba cosplay) from Touhou Project (Touhou Project). To bring this set to life, we staged a fairytale dream garden inside the studio. The entire floor was covered in lush artificial turf, bordered by abundant faux roses, lisianthus blooms, and colorful wildflowers. Sweeping white tulle was hung in the background to create soft cascades, complemented by a vintage framed mirror and dried pampas grass to evoke a surreal, cloud-grazing fantasy mood.

Reflecting Tewi's youkai rabbit origins, for hair and makeup I wore a classic black bob wig with blunt straight bangs, paired with crimson contact lenses and plush white beast-ear hairpieces at the crown. To faithfully capture the character's signature demeanor, I spent considerable time practicing facial expressions, maintaining a wide-eyed, naive yet slyly clever aura before the lens to heighten recognition.

For wardrobe, I selected a soft-pink Lolita-style dress packed with rich accents: puffed sleeves, delicate lace ruffles, plaid paneling, and a scarlet sash cinching the waist. On the lower half, I styled white semi-translucent lace knee-high Stockings (Stockings) finished with dainty ribbon bows, matched with dusty-rose Mary Jane shoes. The overall palette remained exquisitely gentle, with footwear and hosiery details reinforcing sweet, docile charm.

Throughout the session, diverse props were prepared to enrich compositional layers. Hugging an orange carrot plush cushion not only eased stiff hand placement, but directly echoed the rabbit motif. A small side table draped in a pink floral runner featured staggered brass candlesticks, a vintage tray, and a blue specialty drink with a straw as a visual accent. Interacting with an antique pink rotary telephone and a handheld vanity mirror broke visual monotony, letting expressions bloom with natural, lively innocence while showcasing her quiet, adorable maiden sweetness.

In terms of lighting, to achieve an ethereal, translucent glow, we deployed high-key diffused lighting from multiple angles, virtually eliminating harsh shadows and rendering skin texture exceptionally smooth and luminous. Lounging casually across the turf or on a vintage wooden chair kept my physical presence wonderfully relaxed. Immense effort was poured into color harmony, prop staging, and catching candid moments of character embodiment. It was an intensely immersive shooting experience that deepened my connection to the character, freezing that whimsical afternoon into timeless frames of innocence and playful charm.
