[Cifera Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail - Extreme Rush Before Closing

Shot in the final ten minutes right before the event wrapped up, this set of Cifera was severely rushed. There simply wasn't enough time to make proper adjustments, resulting in some differences in posture and composition compared to the official reference art—my sincere apologies for that. The sheer weight and balance points of this gear presented a real challenge. The metallic high-heeled boots look stunning visually, but finding my balance was brutal, especially trying to stabilize my stance in this low-crouch back-kick pose, which relied entirely on pure core and abdominal strength to hold. The metal splints on my thighs dug in painfully, forcing me to strictly control my angles every single time I squatted, putting immense pressure on my knees. The cat tail prop behind me is rigid; keeping its dynamic curve meant using my lower back muscles to counteract its leverage. The photographer positioned the camera extremely low—while the stretching effect of the wide-angle lens made my calves look slender and elongated, it also meant I had to stay even closer to the ground. To make the most of the floor's reflection, we even wiped down the ground right before shooting. In post-processing, because convention photo compositing was used, background stray light, structural lines, and surrounding crowds all had to be cleaned up one by one. The photographer and retoucher Xiaoshuiba utilized neon color grading and perspective alignment to bring the vibrant, exaggerated feel of 2D anime back into a real-world photo. The biggest regret this time was lacking enough time to fine-tune the posture and work around lighting blind spots on facial expressions. Due to the rush, my head angle deviated slightly from the reference, and the eye reflection angles under the powerful flash weren't quite ideal. When the prop claws made contact with the floor, friction was tricky, and a slight slip could have caused a fall. Despite all the chaotic moments throughout the shoot, the finished photos captured the aura quite well. This rushed session served as valuable experience—for any future shoots under extreme time constraints, predicting on-site lighting angles beforehand will need to be far more precise.
