I finally got to shoot baby Suzuran's Anomalous spectrum outfit, marking a great way to document it on the occasion of the 10.9 birthday. The pre-shoot prep work this time was actually quite tedious: the wig was styled into a light blonde texture with a subtle greenish tint, paired with large-diameter mint-green colored contacts, instantly giving the eyes a very translucent look. The makeup emphasized reddish tones around the eye sockets, combined with slightly winged eyeliner and plush, fibrous false eyelashes to create an atmosphere that felt both youthful and softly fuzzy. The highlight of this styling is definitely the black bear headpiece and white lace headband atop the head, along with the Animal ears and the massive, ultra-soft Fluffy tail at my side. The tail is extraordinarily large, requiring considerable arm strength to hold up while posing, perfectly echoing the white fluffy ears. The outfit features a white shirt, red bow tie, and an off-white knit cardigan, giving off a well-behaved doll-like charm.

The set used a purple-and-pink gradient backdrop, complemented by overhead rim lighting to create a dreamy glowing halo. Many passersby asked how to achieve such a soft, sweet aesthetic; actually, beyond post-processing, on-set lighting is crucial—especially placing rim lights overhead or from the rear-side so highlights fall naturally across the hair strands and the fine fur of the ears. This set of costume, makeup, and props truly tested our patience: from wig styling to inserting lenses, from securing ear accessories to adjusting tail angles, every single detail took a long time to refine. But seeing the final photos—especially that composition without obstructions where both hands cradle the massive Fluffy tail—made all the effort feel worthwhile. The photos showcase complete fluffy elements, with the red bow tie standing out vibrantly against the white knit sweater, leaving an impression with its gap-moe contrast. To keep the soft, fuzzy ambiance intact, controlling facial expressions was key, keeping the gaze innocent and pure. Overall, this was an unforgettable endeavor. Even though the props were much heavier than expected, being able to capture the character's quiet, docile, and subtly magical charm made me, as a fan, immensely happy. I hope to bring this fluffy cosplay to offline events next time.
