Today, I shot this Shiroko Sunaookami Sportswear cosplay in a school classroom. Let's jump straight in to discuss the shooting details and impressions of this photoshoot.
Choosing this standard, well-lit classroom as our set was primarily inspired by its wooden floors and neatly aligned desks and chairs. Sunlight poured through the sheer white curtains, casting a soft natural glow that perfectly suited this athletic look—crisp, fresh, and highlighting the character's quiet yet energetic demeanor.
For the outfit, I opted for her casual gym uniform version. The top is a loose-fitting white short-sleeved T-shirt with light-blue contrast piping along the collar and cuffs, preserving the comfort and casual aesthetic characteristic of sportswear. For the bottom, it was paired with white over-the-knee socks and black platform canvas sneakers. This styling was not only easy to move around in, but also deeply faithful to the character's design, radiating youthful campus vibrancy in this Over-the-knee socks cosplay ensemble.
Regarding hair, makeup, and props, to align with the character image, I selected a silver-gray wig and meticulously groomed the bangs and side locks framing the face. Blue contact lenses, paired with slightly accentuated pink blush beneath the eyes, gave facial expressions a cool detachment blended with subtle cuteness. The light-blue halo and the black-and-white animal ears atop the head are quintessential must-haves for the Silver hair beast ears aesthetic. The halo features a lightweight hollow structure; keeping it steady during shooting required continuous coordination between the photographer and me.
During the shoot, we used a volleyball and classroom textbooks as interactive props. I sat on the floor hugging my knees with the blue, yellow, and white volleyball resting beside me, or sat at the desk resting my chin in both hands. These poses aimed to capture the character's authentic everyday campus life. Rather than forcing exaggerated poses, the shoot focused on recording genuine, candid moments. Sitting on the floor while keeping the garment neat and managing subtle facial expressions really tested stamina.
Beyond posed static shots, candid snapshots taken while zoning out or daydreaming turned out far more natural. Posing in front of the desk was meant to emphasize the "student" identity in the frame. Overall, the color palette of this styling is clean and translucent—white, blue, and black, accented by silver-gray hair and subtle pink touches, creating a visually comforting feel.
