[Dyadia cosplay] Keeping an Eye on All Sides with Red Strings Attached, Sharing the Texture of Honor of Kings' Dyadia

Keeping an eye on all mortal matters, attaching red strings to lovers from all directions. When I got this outfit for Dyadia, my first thought was to find a scene with a natural Chinese texture to present it. The color scheme of this Chinese style outfit leans toward soft and bright white, pink, and orange. Let's talk about the costume first. The outer layer is a white fabric with an embossed jacquard pattern, the neckline is light gray, and the splicing and sewing craftsmanship at the waist and cuffs is extremely meticulous. A layer of lightweight fabric is superimposed on the pink wide sleeves, along with embroidered white cloud patterns, and the corners are also embellished with golden piping; the overall silhouette feels both ethereal and not baggy. The tassels hanging below the cuffs can swing naturally with movements, which, in coordination with this specific accessory structure, beautifully restores the character's in-game dynamic weightlessness.

What took the most energy for this hair and makeup look was actually the head area. A vast number of pink and white silk flowers were stacked on the headpiece, along with transparent glass spheres containing small pink flowers, as well as dangling bead strands and long tassels. These are not merely decorative; from a physical structure perspective, they have quite a bit of weight themselves. During the shoot, I had to control the angles and my turning speed carefully; otherwise, these fine bead chains and tassels could easily get tangled together. To ensure the visual effect, I specifically chose a pale yellow color leaning toward milky blonde for the wig, which coordinates with the unified tone of the entire makeup once worn.

Speaking of the makeup, to fit Dyadia's spiritual yet slightly charming setting, the eye makeup and blush sections took up a huge proportion. I used pink and light orange tones for blending to enlarge the contours of both eyes, placing the blush on the cheeks right across the middle of the nose bridge, which creates a better linked visual feel with the wig and the pink petal decorations. Being bolder with colors allows the color saturation and layers to keep up after the photos are produced.

The shooting location selected was an outdoor Chinese courtyard with flagstone paths and thick wood. The natural light presents a soft diffuse reflection in the afternoon without harsh overhead lighting, so the luster of the hair and the transparency of the headpiece can be beautifully restored. The deep brown of the tree trunks and the rich green plants in the background beautifully suppress the main subject's pink-and-white match, preventing the frame from looking like it's floating.

In front of the lens, I tried my best to manifest her expression. The character of Dyadia herself carries a playful sense of controlling the red strings, so my arm postures weren't made very stiff; instead, they were slightly pulled in front of my chest, lightly gripping the lapel, matching the drape of the tassels. Meanwhile, my head was tilted slightly to allow the entire gold-and-silver hair and flower headpiece to form a complete visual guiding line.

After shooting, I actually had a deep insight: for a character whose headpieces and accessories are so extremely intricate, the biggest test on site is actually the management of props and costumes. Every time I lowered or turned my head, a little carelessness would make the tassels hook onto the embossed patterns of the clothes. Therefore, if one wants to present clean final photos, previous wearing and fixing along with fine-tuning during posing are truly critical.

Regarding this character, her overall aesthetic style is an oriental fantasy combined with a sweet color match, which is highly recognizable in the artistic settings of Honor of Kings.
