[Shameimaru Aya cosplay] Touhou Project fanon riverbank photography record

Today, I brought this Touhou Project Shameimaru Aya fanon outfit to the riverbank for an outdoor photoshoot. This fanon costume combines three classic color choices: black, white, and red. The red round hat is paired with a red-and-white braided rope, and the fluffy pom-poms and red tassels at the ends of the rope create a great sense of dynamic movement when walking. The black feather wings on the back are the focus of this styling; although very light, it still took quite a bit of effort to adjust their position to maintain the extended curve when wearing them. The retro camera hanging in front of my chest and the red leather notebook in my hand are a concrete embodiment of Aya's identity as a reporter. The outdoor shoot was chosen to be on a gravel beach; the grey-and-white tone of the background is very clean, which just sets off the visual impact of the black, white, and red clothing. The natural light was very soft without harsh shadows, which was very helpful for showing the dark patterns and texture of the clothing. However, the gravel ground is indeed not easy to walk on, especially wearing loafers and white ruffled short socks; I still needed to be careful to stand steadily. In terms of action design, I referred to Aya's state when recording materials: opening the notebook to read, holding the camera in preparation for shooting, and finally that slightly playful salute. Because of the fanon aspect, I retained a sense of coolness and focus in my expressions, without deliberately making exaggerated smiles, hoping to convey a feeling of persistent exploration of news truth. Every time I do a cosplay, from the preliminary clothing matching to the actual location shooting, it is a process of re-understanding the character. Although this outdoor shoot had some site challenges, the overall photo results fit the character's temperament very well. Holding the retro camera and the red notebook, I really felt like I was that crow tengu who loves to snap photos of news everywhere. The photographer blended the character and the environment very naturally during composition, and it was precisely because of this naturalness that this set of photos was successfully completed.
