When shooting this FEater look, the main goal was to highlight that gorgeous yet dangerous aura under the Black and gold color scheme. The costume features rich textural layers: the main piece is a black high-slit dress with a structured white collar at the neckline, adorned with golden bamboo leaf embroidery across the hem and waist, and draped with sheer black tulle sleeves and a shawl over top. This fabric combination creates rich dimensionality under light and shadow. In terms of accessories, to enhance the visual impact of the legs, I paired a black leg garter featuring delicate gold chains (Leg garter styling) and black stiletto high-heeled sandals, which elongated the leg proportions wonderfully. The black cane in hand is just the right length, serving as a stable support point for both standing and kneeling poses while fitting the commanding aura perfectly. The wig features silver-white twin tails, topped with a black cat-ear headband and sunglasses, adding a touch of playful charm to the overall look.
A special thanks to photographer Guang for the creative ideas and composition. The set was designed in a space with shoji sliding doors, backed by hanging black and gold circular discs of varying sizes, with abundant gold confetti scattered across the floor alongside decorative gold lotuses. Utilizing these reflective textures and warm light sources beautifully created an opulent, decadent atmosphere. During the shoot, we tested multiple camera angles: a standing pose with one leg slightly raised flattered the leg contours and high-slit dress design nicely; a high-angle overhead shot of the kneeling pose used the cane's leading lines to give the composition deeper visual depth. Throughout the process, we spent considerable time adjusting the billowing angle of the sheer tulle, hoping to capture the airy lightness of the garments while maintaining the character's poised, confident demeanor. Treating every photoshoot with dedication is the only way to convey styling details and authentic textures with precision. Photography sharing like this is always deeply rewarding.
