When I received this diamond edition Cyrene costume from Manjiongjia, my first reaction was that the accessories were even more abundant and exquisite than expected. Opening the packaging bag, those gradient-colored fabric flowers, wing-shaped headpieces, and silver-white antenna-like decorations were all packaged in individual small bags, protecting the details very well. Once put on, the most immediate feeling is that the overall color tone is exceptionally gentle. The dominant white gives a sense of lightness, paired with pink-purple and light blue gradients, which creates a naturally dreamy and ethereal atmosphere.
Let's first talk about my favorite parts. That pair of gradient-colored large butterfly wing headpieces and the silver-white leaf hair accessories are very intricately made. Although they are quite large, the center of gravity balances well when worn, without causing any downward pulling sensation. The three-dimensional flower decorations on the clothes are very prominent, and the gradient transition is natural. The biggest highlight of this set is actually the matching white printed tights for the legs. The fabric is extremely thin and highly elastic, and the water wave and cloud patterns fit perfectly. After putting them on, there are absolutely no awkward tight marks, and the visual effect under natural light makes the leg lines look very smooth.
The tailoring of the costume itself also has remarkable merits. The hollowed-out design on the upper body and the geometric structure of the waist corset give the overall look a great sense of layering, preventing it from looking monotonous. The sleeves are designed into a bud-shaped ruffle style; the fabric is light and draping, so when I raise my arms, the sleeves spread out naturally, giving a strong sense of agility. However, just as I mentioned before, the connection area above the chest feels a bit empty. If a fine silver chain could be added to the edge of the chest or embellished with a miniature floral print, the visual focus would be more substantial. But this is just a minor adjustment space; the flaws do not hide the virtues.
The multi-layered design of the lower hem is something I really love, which flows elegantly when moving around. The outermost side is a purple starry sky gradient long skirt train, which is spacious and lightweight, making the trailing effect a big plus when walking. Paired with silver pointed high heels of the same color scheme as the outfit, the overall body proportions are elongated beautifully. The matching prop this time has a moderate weight and is not effortless to hold with one hand; the silver-purple baked paint texture on the surface is beautifully executed, completely corresponding to the outfit's color palette.
I specially chose a sunny afternoon to do a fitting record in front of the full-length mirror. When the sunlight streams in obliquely from the right side, the subtle shimmers on the clothes and the printed details on the legs are beautifully highlighted. Although it's still in the exploring stage of the Cosplay fitting, my first impression of this gear is fantastic. It shows great sincerity from the design concept to the control of details, offering great cost-performance value. This kind of color scheme and design is indeed perfect for matching with some natural outdoor scenes later on. With a bit of fine-tuning on the poses, the effect in the finished photoshoot should be even better.
