As soon as the Guangzhou Anime Convention itinerary ended, we immediately utilized the natural surroundings around the venue to begin this set of outdoor sailor uniform themed shoots. We wanted to record a different kind of atmospheric feel outside the convention hall, while letting the costume present richer layers under natural light.

This time, we selected a navy blue sailor uniform short-sleeve style, paired with white stripes on the sailor collar. The large red bow tie at the neck is the visual focus of the entire upper body, which beautifully breaks up the dullness of the dark color scheme. To better match the overall look, I paired it with black plush cat ears and a matching long cat tail; this classic combination looks highly lively and playful in an outdoor environment.

Regarding the \"black tights or bare feet\" mentioned in the post, I chose deep gray-black tights with a slight skin-translucency this time, and put on a pair of thick-soled black loafers. This black tights outfit is not only highly practical in daily JK wear, but also beautifully modifies the leg shape, making the leg lines look more slender and well-proportioned. Many photos taken outside conventions easily look fat due to lighting issues, but this time the photographer beautifully utilized natural side-backlight to let the subtle sheen of the tights present itself, instantly maxing out the texture.

We shot several sets of seated poses at the white crescent sculpture by the pool. This white sculpture surface has a moon-like bumpy texture, which beautifully matches the slightly dreamy and mysterious demeanor of a cat girl look. In the seated posing, I tried to select actions that give the limbs some extension, like sitting cross-legged making a scissor hand gesture in the photos, or leaning a single hand against the sculpture edge. This not only avoids the cramped feel caused by sitting but also forms a natural triangular composition in the frame, making the entire photo look more agile.

Then we moved to the white geometric corridor to shoot. The light here was more translucent, and the white columns formed a great sense of depth, with the natural framing keeping the picture highly clean. I took a few single-leg standing poses in this scene; this kind of action actually heavily tests center-of-gravity control. Balancing the body using a single raised leg and arm movements, while deliberately tilting the hips slightly, can visually elongate the lower body proportion tremendously.

Regarding makeup and hairstyle, I retained a relatively natural straight hairstyle with bangs, paired with a clear, daily makeup look, without doing especially exaggerated stage makeup, which brings more of a friendly neighborhood-girl親近感. The badge on the chest and the red bow tie are finishing touches; when pulling the focal length slightly closer, these minor details all enhance the narrative feel of the frame.

This shoot's venue was selected in the open-air area around the convention. Compared to the crowded exhibition hall interior, it is much easier to find a clean background here, and the light is softer. Since it was past midday, the light was relatively hard, and the reflected light from some areas and white buildings was strong, so we deliberately avoided some corners with overly heavy shadows during the shoot, completing the photography under even diffuse light as much as possible. I hope this record under natural light can provide some reference ideas for photoshoots outside the convention. Actually, as long as the light is found correctly, even the simplest JK sailor uniform girl look can be shot with a highly comfortable texture.
